What form is required to apply for extension of re-entry to USA having Green Card. I like to come back to USA after one year and need the extension re-entry permit.

Please help and send your reply to me at khaniu@gmail.com

Khaniu, I doubt you will get replies via email, most post answers on here.

You said in another thread that you just got here, and yet you want to leave and stay out for a year?

May I ask why? The reason for this is that there could be complications for you later on, having just got here and not really intending to be a resident.

How did you get your GC? Was it marriage based?
If so is your wife going with you?

It's form I-131. You'll need to get biometrics done prior to departure. Remember, if you're gone more than 6 months there is a presumption of residency abandonment unless you have a re-entry permit. And, there are limitations to the number and frequency of applications you may file.

You may want to look at at N-470 if it applies.

Thanks for your replies. I got my GC on F4 basis. I am still working in Saudi Arabia and have 1.5 years for my retirement. The job situation here is not that good and I am afraid that I can get a job soon. That's why I want to complete my contract and stay there for about 1.5 years. For this reason I need to know the procedure for applying for extension re-entry.
