Actually, I think if it would be incapable to be marketed at all, society would never go for that. If it were more common, and society tolarating it more, it wouldn't be an adventure splash for the individuals involved any longer. The tension surounding it would be gone - the splash would be less intense. People would have to find another source of tension - which inevitably they would at least until the marketeers again cought up with them?
