And what about his likely soon-to-be VP, Romney. This guy ran as the "CEO of America" during his campaign. He tried to portray himself as a "man of the people" yet he's a multi-millionaire.

Who likes their boss anyway? Roll Eyes

We voted Democrat. They'll be no need to sneak in anymore

Lmao, the link you posted Jasmin to Think Progress is actually saying this:

quote:
Wall Street however, disagrees, and is donating more to Obama’s campaign than to the campaign of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Bloomberg reports that Obama “has captured $9.6 million in donations from employees working for securities, mortgage and drug companies, compared with McCain’s $6.6 million.” From “brokers, bankers and traders in the securities industry” Obama has gathered $8.9 million to McCain’s $6.3 million, and “their support comes even as Obama seeks higher taxes for wealthy Americans.” Workers in the mortgage industry, meanwhile, “gave $278,937 to Obama and $133,475 to McCain.”

In 2004, all of these industries donated more to President Bush than they did to Sen. John Kerry (D-MA). Yet by rejecting McCain, Wall Street is showing its dissatisfaction with the past eight years of Bush’s presidency, which saw skyrocketing deficits and financial crises. Perhaps they also want to make sure that benefits are dispersed throughout the economy, rather than given to just the wealthiest Americans.

However, there are some industries with which McCain is more popular. Bloomberg notes that the oil and gas industries gave their “million dollar maverick” McCain “four times the amount” that they’ve given Obama.

Goes to show you the kind of people republicans attract. Types like the dumb delusional Jasmin, all the white trash, the bigots, racists, the anti-American white suprematists, the unpatriotic, reich-wing zealots, and the uneducated dumb.

The Democratic Party is the Party of the American People, of all Americans: black, white, all nations' immigrants, the real patriots, the bright and the brave.

I think the Democratic world is much more beautiful.
Today is a beautiful day. Just look at the stadium in Denver. They are all there today.

Go America!
clap

Only if cockroaches and pigs like you can easily comprehend the simplicity of Finance. You cannot dream of buying something you know you cannot afford. So how is this the problem of Bush or Mc Cain? It is those Democrats brainless pigs who went above and beyond their capacity and now want Government to bail them out. How ridiculous. This is why if Obama becomes President, USA will turn in to third world country. Govt is there to run the country, not financially protect every citizen for their own stupidity.

if obama cares so much of this country and its people then why he didn't agree to mccain's ideas of having town hall meetings so that american people could ask them on their concerns? it was important to obama to travel abroad than giving american people's an honest opportunity to raise their concern during town hall meetings.

germany never liked america and always have been jealous of america being a superpower. Germans are puposely hoping obama to be our president so that world could laugh on america...they are using reverse monopoly for america to look bad. but they don't know that germans and all these obama lovers can shout as much as they like but they cannot decide who will be our president..we...americans can only decide who will be our president.

Obama today in his acceptance speech stated, "Only President Clinton can make the case for a change." Second, he blamed Mc Cain for being in Washington for two decades and not being able to do anything.

So lets examine his speech. By stating Clinton can make the case for a change, Obama has admitted he is not competent enough to really sell his idea of change. He has indirectly admitted that all along what he has been feeding to pigsters is nothing but a bunch of bologne. He has admitted now that the change he has been talking all along will fizzle in thin air and really needed support and backing of Clintons because he is incompetent.

He blamed Mc Cain for being in Washington for long and not being able to change anything. Wait a minute I believe Biden has been in DC for 3 decades now. Isn't it? Did Obama all of a sudden get an amnesia? Did he already forget his running mate has been there as well and hasn't been able to bring the change he is talking about.

Is not the superpower why other nations respect the US. The US is not about Super power you should know better than that.

This administration wasted all the hardwork
of both republicans and democrats contributions for this country.

It's about time to restore the legacy of those leaderships that this administration had thrown in the garbage.

and Same ole same is not the one!

Wouldn't be the first time WallStreet made a bad bet and it goes to show the special interests are lining up for him already. It doesn't matter though. Osama will lose in November.

Quite simply, they haven't had enough votes in Congress and the Senate to overcome the obstacles the Repubs have put in their way. Who do you think's been blocking every attempt at ending the war in Iraq? Who tried to stop the minimum wage hike? Who tried to stop extra $$ for medical insurance for under privileged kids? They've tried pretty hard to persuade some of the wavering repubs though. Between that and Bush's vetos' what do you expect? You knew the answer anyway Davdah.

Don't they hold a majority? Isn't that enough to pass a petty bill? Sorry, go fish for another excuse.

My contribution will be hail to the chief on election day.

Olalala, the point with Monica is the display of true character. And, 'he never had s.ex with that women' which made it worse. Not to mention that a sitting president should be able to do better. That is 3 strikes, you're outa here bill. Hillary the gutless wonder is gonzo too for taking it all in. Well, maybe that was the problem. She didn't. LMAO....
