Take a video camera in a predominantly black neighborhood and play the same sort of race game. You'll get the same sort of answers. Do it anywhere on the planet and the results will be similar. What that one women said 'Its time for a change'. Interesting the reporter didn't really press her for what kind of change did she mean. But we know what she meant, don't we.

In politics, all is fair.

You voted democrat. This country is not worth sneaking into any more.

I am not talking about the woman that would consider voting for the candidate of either party. That is fair, if you have party issues - fine. You highlight you've voting democrat all your life - **** you are proud of it, but if a black candidate is presented, you are no longer a democrat. Shame on you!

The black neighborhoods, I have to say - this time around, almost don't count because they have ambly shown that they would vote for a white nominee - don't they. The reason why everyone is flocking to him right now, is because they are just so psyched about the idea! It'll normalize next time around.

YOu are correct Kollerkrot.
Those so called "reagan democrats" are never democrats. They switch to a Democratic candidate from time to time but they regularly vote for a republican. Take PUSC.

West Virginia and Kentucky, among several other states are the so called redneck states- almost completely white, full of rural religious, gun toting, and backwards folks.
So to say that Obama has a problem with white blue collar voters is an utter heresy. Those white voters have a problem with a black candidate, not vice versa, and we all know it's the truth, they know it too.
The irony is that they are too dumb to really know where their interests are. They notoriously vote against their own interests. Obama is the only candidate that has those people's interest at heart.

Koller, you know, I am beating myself up for my earlier support for Clinton. I don't know how I was blinded, and I don't know how to make it up to Obama. I wish there is something I can do to make it up, but nothing seems to help. I feel so ashamed.
But I also feel relieved I got out when I did. Clinton is just sliding down that slimy road further and further to a point of absurd. I am beginning to really despise this woman now.
YOu know at first I thought Obama was just too good to be true. But now it is and it's getting better and better. I am just now very worried for him.
We will definitely see clearly in November what is the racist ratio in this great country. Will be very interesting.

If by any chance, McCain wins in November, be it because of Clinton, or racism, or revenge from women, etc. then this will mean this country is a failure.
Failure of democracy, failure of the American Constitution, failure of economy, and failure of the American country as a whole. Those gone, this isn't a great country anymore.
And I don't want to be a part of it. I will most definitely convince my husband to move to Australia or back to Europe, and I doubt I will have much convincing to do.

Nah, she will do the Alec Baldwin thing. The bigger questions are: would Australia have her and would she say to her husband, "Come with me or I will divorce you!"

To Koller. The point I was making with my comments about that video were basically this. It was blatantly obvious they were trying to make the white people out as racist for not supporting Obama. As for the blacks they interviewed no such distinction was made. But based on their responses the same conclusion could have been reached.

The reality is this. Neither are racists at all. To define someones lack of comfort with different as being racist is extreme and on its face promulgating hate. It would be the same as saying Koller is racist if he says he is more comfortable in his home country than one of its neighbors. Same goes for Iperson or anyone for that matter. Its not racist, its only comfort with familiar. Nothing more. The true hate mongers are the people who make these videos and those that support the false conclusions.

Davdah, what is your definition of racism? Do you think it exists? Please let me know - thanks!

What actually defines racism is the belief of an inherent superiority of one over the other.

Of course it exists. Its everywhere but not to the extreme that its being made out to be.

Right - and that's why some of these people in the video and particularly the ones that say ("I don't vote a black man") don't want to see a black candidate in the White House because they think that the white race is superior and belongs there.

It's as easy and common as that.
