Huckabee doesn't believe in Immigration Reform, even signed the form on meeting with Numbers USA whereby he promised to deport them all illegals.

But, mark my words, no matter who is the next President or Vice-President, it's the whole country that will decide the outcome of the issue.

It can go either way, in any event it will be the DAO (simply said: Gods' wish).

You're out of luck whitey suprematists. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanic and Asian populations will triple over the next 50 years, while blacks will contribute an additional 30 million people to the overall U.S. population. People of color will be the majority in about or less than 50 years, whether the illegal population is counted or not.
And there is NOTHING, absolutely nothing whatsoever you can do about it.
You could start by getting used to it and adapt more civil ways, or ship out.

Your point being? So the white population becomes the minority. So long as we all accept being Americans, who really cares?

Sorry, you are wrong on Huckabee. Read his positions from before he was running for President. It is only reasonable that Huckabee is for Comprehensive Reform because of his honest convictions about what the Christ has tried to teach us.

People vote according to their individual perceptions and interests.
To imply that no Hispanic or Black voter may have anything in common with Republican party is the same as to imply that no White or Wealthy voter may have anything in common with Democratic.
Both assumptions are wrong (though, statistically, ratio wise, the numbers for both groups will hold in favor of one or another choice).

When did this become about color?

I'm afraid I have to agree with Hudson. You really are juvenile and do nothing but resort to petty insults when you don't get your way. You and our dear Cheryl should consider going in to partnership.

Iperson--your point that there is really nothing we can do about it so we better try to be more civil in our dealings makes much sence.

When a person carries so called anti-racist agendas to an extreme there should be suspicion. Like the person who has an over abundance of religious propaganda on their car. They are usually the rudest of drivers and have the most to hide.

Vote Republican and this country will still be worth sneaking into.

Trying to use, or bait, the race card os more of a sign of stupidity than political prowess, IP. You do not respect others, you do not respect other positions, and you do not even respect this world which we live in. The only thing you really care about is yourself, not your husband, your family, or anyone around you. I have seen the best and worst on both sides. Republicans have lost sight what really got them into the majority in 1994. They made a pplitica mistake by blaming immigrants for most of the problems that we now have instead of ourselves, each and everyone of us. I have disagreed with the likes of Trent Lott and Newt Gingrich just as much as I have disagreed with President Bill Clinton. But I have never berated a political leader whether in this country or another.

Actions speak louder than words IP and your actions are completely deplorable.

Chuck,
There is a lot you can do if you start with the little things first. For instance, go to zone planning meeting that are not in your neighborhood. Go to City or County council meetings, go to School Board meetings. Go to community meetings. Or volunteer with a nonprofit organization on a regularly basis. Become a mentor. But do something instead of just smacking away in an internet forum. But the problem is most people want someone else to do something, to sacrifice, to make the "hard decision," yet only want to come into the fray when it is convenient.

If you cannot change or help people around you in your own area, then how can you change the world.

Pardon the intrusion, but 'another one bites the dust'!

Affair revelation halts GOP congressman's re-election pursuit

In May, Fossella ran a stop light in Virginia and failed a breath test

The statement he gave police revealed his extramarital affair, and the couple's child

Fossella is the 30th Republican to announce they would not seek re-election

Fossella is the 30th Republican to announce they would not seek re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A New York congressman who admitted to fathering a child out of wedlock with a woman who bailed him out of jail on a drunk driving charge this month announced Monday that he will not run for re-election.

"This choice was an extremely difficult one, balanced between my dedication to service to our great nation and the need to concentrate on healing the wounds that I have caused to my wife and family," Rep. Vito Fossella, a six-term Republican, said in a written statement.

Fossella, who represents Staten Island and part of Brooklyn, is the 30th Republican to announce they would not seek re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives.

As a result, Democrats, who hold a 236-199 majority in the House, could see gains in the November election.

Fossella's sudden downfall began soon after midnight on May 1, when he ran a red light in Alexandria, Virginia and was stopped by police. A breath test put his blood-alcohol level at 0.17 percent, more than double the state's legal limit, according to his arrest report.

The congressman apologized the next day for what he said was "an error in judgment."

A week later, the 43-year-old, married Fossella was apologizing again to his family and constituents because of his secret extramarital affair with Laura Fay.

It became public because the police report said Fossella told the arresting officer he was going to visit a sick daughter when he was stopped, identifying Fay's street as his destination.

Fossella told reporters after his arrest that he had been celebrating the Super Bowl champion New York Giants' appearance at the White House with constituents.

Fossella first came to Congress in a 1997 special election and has won five full terms since.

God Bless America and everyone else!

Thanks Chuck. We know what to do to make this country a better place. We vote instead of going to meetings for show only, like some here.

Gotta run. I've got class elitism 2500 to go to. Today we cover how to squash rebugs.

A good class to attend. Hopfully you'll learn something.

Elitism: is the belief or attitude that those individuals who are considered members of the elite — a select group of people with outstanding personal abilities, intellect, wealth, specialized training or experience, or other distinctive attributes — are those whose views on a matter are to be taken the most seriously or carry the most weight; whose views and/or actions are most likely to be constructive to society as a whole; or whose extraordinary skills, abilities or wisdom render them especially fit to govern [1].

Who does this sound like? I'm sure she'll come up with something to justify it though. After all. What do we know? We're just gun slinging cowboys, right?

Gunslingers eh...
That raght Pardnor Big Grin

Wasnt Obama accused of being an elitist, when he said the blue collars workers didnt connect with him? Hmmm. with their taking refuge in guns and blaming illegals for problems. Oh and the latest. He called republican tactics "LOW CLASS. " After his "low class" remark, I am looking twice at that remark made about him. He could have used any other description, even Low.. but no, his heart spoke and said low class.

Me thinks this guy should not open mouth becuase wrong condescending words come out way 2 often.
