So what is indecent to you?

NOT talking about the elephant in the room is indecent. Divisive maybe- but who cares? While it is indecent NOT to talk about it.

Sorry you don't agree with my analogy, I tried to phrase it as delicately as I could. Members of both parties have been wrong, but should we follow their model and continue in err?? What an election it would be if it didn't involve smearing the opposition! I agree, Bill's indiscretions had little to do with his presidency, it should have been left alone. Why continue this negative pattern though? We have the power to change things, no one should sling mud, and it has nothing to do with burying our heads in the sand, it has to do with looking at the bigger picture, for the sake of our country.

I am looking at the bigger picture of this country unlike many republican citizens and posters here.
Wasn't it PUSC who said she would never vote for Hillary because she doesn't like her?

It is within my rights to like or dislike a candidate, Iperson. That doesn't give you the right to pull conversations out of our PM's and post them on the main forum. That was really bad form.

You said the same thing on the main forum, PUSC, that America is not ready for a black or woman president a few times, so I didn't reveal anything you'd want to keep private, which I would never have done.
You say that because you don't like me as being an outspoken Democrat on top of being a woman. I don't need a man's pat on my back like you do. That's what. Well, I don't like you either for being a sheepish Republican. And I don't believe for a second that you will ever vote for Obama.

I'm voting for Obama next week in the Virginia primaries, Iperson. I'm a mature adult who can formulate my own opinions. I'm also big enough not to resort to name calling.

Iperson, I looked at your link you dared everyone to look at. No one will argue that war is ugly. The pictures don't actually do justice to the intensity of the situation when in first person.

Any political campaign is divisive. If everyone were the same we wouldn't need an election since everyone would want the same guy to win. Dem or Rep either group will have a struggle for the top dog position. That is politics.

Your comment about 90% of American men was funny. If that is true it becomes obvious how the women would know. Who are they having the affairs with? And they know it is what it is to boot. So who is more guilty?

Vote Republican and this country will still be worth sneaking into.

Calling someone a sheepish republican is not name calling, neither is calling someone narrow minded, esp. when it is the truth.

When things are as important as the future of this country and the world, things like political correctness lose its foot, in fact they are unwelcome.
I said previously that it is not personal, it is politics, it is business.
We are not friends here. This is not a friends chatroom or forum. If you need female bonding or friendly exchanges about diets, there are plenty blogs and forums dedicated to those issues.
For me you are simply a Republican, period. Nothing else, and so I am speaking to you as a representative of that party, not to you as a private individual.
You may choose to ignore my posts and not respond.

That is kind of rude. Reducing her to a mere label of convenience. I doubt she represents the party as you think it is. Each person is somewhere in the range of the party line they follow. So in your eyes a person is not a person but only a representative of the party they typically vote for? Or if they don't follow lock step with your belief of what a Dem is they are somehow not worthy the Democrat title. What happened to acceptance and diversity? I thought you wanted cohesiveness and a oneness of all. Seems to me your the one being divisive with this rhetoric.

It's okay, Davdah. I'm a big girl and a US citizen who has the right to vote - think I have a little more clout than the poster who is trying to belittle me! I appreciate your support just the same.

Yes, today is a historic day overall.
I should have known you would misconstrue that Davdah, and I wouldn't expect anything more after you or PUSC.
I said: in conversation about politics, about the future of this country, YES, you are just a republican to me.
If we talk about other issues, on another unrelated forum, then you are a regular citizen.

And I don't expect you PUSC to vote for Obama because you agree with him on the issues. You are only voting to spite Hillary Clinton.
Oh well.

I don't want to appear irrelevant in your exchanges. But there may be no reason to fret, Ip. As of this moment's tally, we're sweeping the East Coast.

Yey Rough Neighbor! That's good news.

I just want to say this to you PUSC, remember this is nothing personal, but it's up to you to take it personally or not.
I think you are being stubborn (not to say narrow minded), but if you just opened up your mind a little more, and got informed better instead of riding on your emotions, you would see that Hillary Clinton is not in any opposition to you as a citizen of this country just because you are a Republican.
You say she is devisive and hates republicans, and this is just not true. She does despise the reps right now in the White House and those who started the war, yes, but aren't those you disagree with as well?
You just said so earlier on. So there is nothing else in between you and Hillary, absolutely nothing. As far as religious beliefs, or abortion and such issues, those should have absolutely nothing to do with political choices.
The idea many Republicans share when choosing a Rep. candidate is if he shares their values aka religious beliefs.
Now are we in the 21st century or not???? What kind of a measure is this?
This is why I call republicans narrow minded. Religious beliefs and values are a mental roadblock. You would rather vote for an old McCain who is tied with the oil industry burying this world literally in the global warming grasp, and YET you will vote for him to spite Hillary Clinton.

HOW STUPID IS THAT???

If I were standing on the Moon, and watching you on the Earth getting burned and suffocating from the global warming, I would scream: burn, baby, burn because of your own stupidity!

So what if she did. Isn't that her perogative to support whatever candidate she chooses?
Your generalizing again with the "Republican citizens and posters" bit. Why can't we just be citizens and posters?
