I know the I864 had changed in past years, maybe it depends which one you signed.

The new one states: ) ......in which the sponsor agrees to provide support to maintain the sponsored alien at an annual income that is not less than 125 percent of the Federal poverty line during the period in which the affidavit is enforceable;

(B) that is legally enforceable against the sponsor by the sponsored alien, the Federal Government, any State (or any political subdivision of such State) or by any other entity that provides any means-tested public benefit (as defined in subsection (e)), consistent with the provisions of this section;

The correct form is as follows. The statement "The sponsor can also be sued by the immigrant" is misleading. Anyone can sue anybody. The affidavit of support does not help the immigrant in any way in doing this.

IN FACT: I sued my ex wife for fraud and I won.

But read the what it says on USICS and other places. Its not about just suing anybody for anything...its about suing a sponsor for breaching the contract.

Actually because of her I was able to get a better job and double my salary. She had to pay me $12,000 for fraud and she had legal expenses of $5-8K I estimate. I paid nothing for her and nothing for the divorce (OK $600); I kept everything. She got deported and married a mildly retarded guy apparently. I am very happy in my own personal accomplishments.

You went to find her on a wesbite..knew she had money, brought her over, married her, then decided you got what you want, divorce her and make out it was fraud.
You had nothing, and you now say you got everything and you didn't pay for anything.
