And, in regards to illegal immigration, its supporters and the actual ones as well, not one of them has been able to provide a rational, logical reason why 12M illegals should be rewarded instead of deported........ If so, let's hear it. ..... it dodges the issue of fairness and responsibility and avoids discussing the economic and educational destruction that illegal immigration causes upon the AMerican taxpayers.
CASH is the economic reason. CASH is King in America and any third grader can figure out it costs less to let these people work and support themselves than to detain, deport and support the US Citizen family members left behind.
Its need for the workers is obvious business has recruited, and absorbed these workers. Unemployment is at an all time low and the economy is booming.
Haliburton subsidiaries are quite happy with thier role in the building of billions of dollars worth of detention centers. As a taxpayer I am pretty pissed off to be providing 3 hots and a cot to an able bodied alien and footing the bill for his US Wife and Kids left behind.
The problem with people is its messy, life love, ***, procreation ect. There is no simple answer but I know that "punishing" the people who are so much lower on Maslovs hierachy of needs than we are does not solve he problem but only excerbates it.
So if revenge is your game, yes lets deport and detain everyone, but if a workable and sane solution is on the table this enforcement only is not the way to go. Why don't you write the check Rockafeller?
As for me, do I want to foot the bill for the sake of "revenge" on so called "undocumented"? HELL NO, I am worried about retirement, the recoup of my 401k and the possibility I paid in all this time to SS and never will collect a dime.
As for the immigration problem.. I say.. Fix it!
If you think creating a police state in the US is the answer visit China. At least they had the class to make an architectural masterpiece out of the great wall. We are talking Chain Link, and creating a DMZ at a US border? Thats a great idea take a cue from the former Eastern Block they did so well with the wall in Berlin. How about Check Point Charlie at your local filling station? We will just pat search and frisk everyone for the documents that prove they should be here.
Curious what to do with the rest of the borders of North America, Saran Wrap, maybe a Tupperware bowl? Its like spitting in the wind. Homeland Security my ***. Its unbridled government growth plain and simple.
Seems to me with that 140 IQ you could come up with something a little more creative...but there is that fine line between genius and insantiy.

I have to share a real story and perhaps Someone12 can give feedback as a born honest American.
In a town in East Texas an American guy 53 years old, crippled, gets to the USA a very pretty lady from Ukraine, 32 years old with a son 14 years old on a fiance visa. The name of th lady is Ludmilla. After 10 days staying with Dan, Luda leaves him as she finds a rich American lady who wanted her to marry her son who was getting divorced. Jacki( the name of the American lady) finds her way to extend Luda's visa for 6 more months pretending she has pnumonia. Dan on the other hand does not complain why Luda has left him. So Dan has lied to the embassy in Kiev. He should be punished. He is resposible for everything he has sighned for her. On the other hand Jacki has a business, beauty salon and Luda is working for her and stays in her house enjoying her son too. So, Someone 12 who has to go to prison? Maybe Dan is being paid by doing this kind of job bringing young prostitutions in this country. Now he wants to bring another. How about Jacki, an American lady, the widow of a preacher kidnapping Luda for her own interests, using her for her own goals. Who is to be blamed ? The "honest legal Americans"!!! Luda is still enjoying the USA and pretty sure money buys everything in this contry too.
Then do not call all illegal dirtybags. You have Americans like Jacki and Dan super dirty bags!!!
what a bunch of uninformed morons.... to get rid of illegals, force them to deport themselves within a specific period of time (say 1 year) and after that, if they decide to ignore that law, then they become instantly deportable if they have so much as an overdue video, with NO possibility of ever returning to the US legally. All illegals are dirtbags, no matter what idiots some Americans may be. And to IPerson...it is obvious the consul was right...you had NO intention of returning to your country after your studies....he should have cancelled your tourist visa and then what? (also you lied to our immigration folks when you returned with your tourist visa since you had no intention of being a tourist....instead, you are just another lying dirtbag like the rest of the visa cheats)...
Originally posted by iperson: Hudson, you are wrong thinking every person coming to the US is an immigrant. According to Wikipedia:
Although human migration has existed for hundreds of thousands of years, immigration in the modern sense refers to movement of people from one nation-state to another, where they are not citizens. Immigration implies long-term permanent residence by the immigrants: tourists and short-term visitors are not considered immigrants.
Maybe you're not only misinformed but also in your (unintended) arrogance you think that everyone wants to live here, which is far from the truth. So Someone12's fears that millions of immigrants would come here and ruin the cities like rats, once the gates wide opened, are unfounded. Quite to the contrary. Studies show that these 10 million of Mexican illegal immigrants stay put in the country only because the movement via borders is made difficult. If the immigration laws were less strict, 90% of Mexicans would come here for seasonal work and go back home. Most immigrants, myself included, love their origin countries equally or more than America. I don't think America will ever be a true home to me. I think of my home as my country where I was born. And so do the 10 million of Mexicans.
Suprise? I know.
Now, that said, Hudson, believe me I and other immigrants know more about the reality of immigration laws more than you do. You think you do but you don't, in your naive belief in human rights. Those don't apply to immigrants immigrating to America.
1. I do not know where in the world I stated that everyone who wanted to come to the US wanted to stay as an LPR. The reason why I excluded the tourist visa was that immigration involves movement of people by crossing boarders and staying for a prolonged period of time. That is how the US immmigration system works. It divides immigrants into two classes, nonimmigrant and immigrant. Nonimmigrant can either have a dual or single purpose and the system does not put pressure on the immigrant to become either a USC or a LPR. Immigrant refers to coming as an LPR only. 2. The only arrogance I see is coming from you IP. 3. The US immigration system is one of the most liberal, despite all its flaws and perceived flaws. Compare US immigration system with that of Switzerland, Japan, Korea, Russia, PRC, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, South Africa, and Europe. All of these countries have more restrictive immigration laws than the US. 4. As I stated, I do believe that improvements and changes need to be made. I am a firm believe of the Guest Worker Program, particularily Sen Hutchinson plan or the Kyle and Conryn Admendments. I am also want an increase in the quota for the H1 and H2 visas. Furthermore, I want foreign students who come and study in the US to be exempt from the H visa quota system as well as other improvements and changes. Apparently, you have glossed over this part of my posts in this thread and previous threads. 5. Personally, I want all who come here to come legally, but I also understand why they come illegally. But just to give you a brief summary, the illegal immigration problem comes from two primary sources: the lack of opportunity in their home country and the US consumer wanting cheap products. 6.Yes, I love my country. You seen to count that against me because I am an American. Furthermore, my wife loves her country of origin and I have a great respect for her country's history and culture. And even though I may disagree with the governmental decisions from time to time, I have learned when, how, and to what extent to offer constructive criticism, if at all, even when asked from her family about my opinion. However, I also have not put pressure on my wife to become a USC and leave that choice up to her. I will support and respect any choice she makes as she will do the same with me. 7. Finally, I really do not care nor expect to love your country more than mine since you are not a USC.

Originally posted by iperson: To illustrate my point that not everyone is born equal on this planet, and at the same time the point that Americans see a potential immigrant in everyone wanting to come to study in the US or to work in my own example. I applied for a student visa after being admitted to a university. At the interview the visa application was denied. Why? Because when asked how I am going to fund the college, I said partially my boyfriend and my parents. The consul immediately asked when are we getting married and I said we had no such plans. We really were not making such plans at that time. So he responded we should file the K1 visa instead. How could I have asked my boyfriend for a fiancee visa when we were not engaged??? Anyone? It was August 16th and the classes were starting Sept the 4th and I had yet to come for the orientation and registration. I told the officer that I had a tourist visa issued two years earlier. He had a look at it but didn't change his mind about the student visa. Why? Because he didn't care. I felt my life was shattered.
I went on my tourist visa and then a month later I filed for the change from B1/B2 to F1 and was approved from Nebrasca Immigration Court. I graduated three years later with Magna *** Laude, top 5% of my graduating class. And was not married till a year after graduation.
Well? What do you think your immigration laws look like now? Do they treat everyone equally? Or do they destroy honest lives at the same time?
I can understand why the F1 visa was not granted because you or your family have to prove you can pay the full tuition as well as having a boyfriend in the US. I do not agree with what the foreign officer said about the K1 visa though.
BTW did you ever consider getting scholarships or other alternative financial from the Polish government to go to school in the US?

the officer was right in his/her assumption that Iperson was NOT going to return to her country after studies....and her postings prove that officer correct. As to her assertions that she "knows" what 10M illegals are thinking is about as arrogant as TV evangelists "knowing" what god is thinking....what hor$se$hit. Illegals are parasites that need to be eradicated (deported)....they have total contempt for our laws, and thus, should be shown what our laws can do for them (ship their sorry a$$e$ back to wherever they came from....tomorrow.
7. Finally, I really do not care nor expect to love your country more than mine since you are not a USC.
Well, I didn't say I didn't love this country either. I said I love my country equally or more. I love this country because it is the homeland of the love of my life.
Originally posted by iperson: I didn't come to this country to immigrate. I've just graduated from another college in Poland with my first BA degree prior to coming to the US, and had a bright future ahead of me back in my country.
I don't mean to gang up on you or anything, but if you graduated from college in Poland and you say you had a bright future ahead of you, then why did you want to come here and study? But if you wanted to come back to your boyfriend and stay because of him then you have done what all the millions of illegals have done. You have cheated the system. This goes on all the time and that is why they didn't want to give you a student visa. I think your plan was to come here and marry and this is what you did.
Iperson's actions illustrate her lies....if she really had no intention of staying, then why the eff did she? If she loves Poland so effin much, why go back there? ooops.
your lies and your deceit is obvious by your actions, you eastern european ****...you are nothing but a visa cheat, a liar, a scam artist...you are the reason why Poland will NEVER be on the visa waiver program....one of its requirements is that its population not be filled with $hitbag irresponsible liars....like you....I am sure that the rest of Poland thanks you every waking moment for your lies and deceit...
You both know what my plans were better, obviously. You two, CuriousBob and Someone12 are miserable arrogant creatures. You think everyone wants to live in the US. For your information we will be leaving the US and travelling to move to Europe. We don't know what our plans are, maybe you will tell me?
I am deleting my posts. Thanks for giving me your heart felt welcomes to the USA.

I really don't care nor expect you to love this country because I consider that a moot point in any discussion with anyone.

I do not agree with someone12 and curiousbob assessment. In other woeds, I don't think you lied. However, you did put a red flag to the foreign service officer when petitioning for the student visa. YOu specifically stated that your boyfriend who lives in the USA will help pay for college. Student visas specifically state that you and/or your family must demostrate the ability to pay for the first year tuition. By stating that your boyfriend would help you caused enough doubt to deny the visa. As I stated earlier, I did not agree with the foreign service officer action by asking your boyfriend to file the K1 visa. I would have stated that because you are not able to meet the requirement to demostrate full ability to pay first year tuition, I would deny the visa, but would advise you to re-apply if you can demostrate the ability to full pay. Having a multipe entry tourist visa does not prove anything to the foreign service officer on your intent either. They go simply with what you are applying for, why, and whether you or someone else is going to pay, amoung other requirements.
A word of tax advice to you and your boyfriend/husband. Resident aliens and USC are required to report worldwide income whereever the source is derived. IF the both of you have been filing joint retrurns, then you are considered a resident alien for tax purposes irregardless what immigration defines you. This means, generally, that you and your boyfriend will have to report worldwide income on your return. However, you may qualify for the foreign earned income exclusion and/or foreign tax credit under IRC 911 and 903 respectively. If you and/or your boyfriend fail to report, ti could cause problems for both of you given that the IRS has information returns exchanges with most of the European taxing authorities.

You don't seem to be deleting your posts (you've actually posted a really long one after this response) and you know you are not leaving the country. Stop with the BS! Just like the officer who didn't fall for your student visa bull c r a p we aren't falling for this one. We can see right through you.
