My Fiancee is a Canadian Citizen. Lived there her whole life. Never stayed in the US longer than a couple months.

My question is will she need to have her fingerprints checked to obtain the police certificate needed to get her k1 visa? It seems that if she doesn't need to have her prints verified, it only takes about ten days. If the she has to get her prints done, they have to go to Ottawa and it takes 4 months.
