Hi, can anyone tell me if the two year residence requirement for bringing a foreign adopted child (13 yrs old) to the US can be met by having the children in a private school that is funded by the adoptees? Thanks.

You must prove that the adopted child has resided with you for two years prior to the application for immigration benefits. Residence means co-habitation of some sort. So paying a child's school fees or ownership of the school is not per se evidence of residence. Check the Foreign Service Manual at the US state Department web site for requirements for establishing residence for adopted children.
