The thought occured to me reading these posts about sham marriages. Why not make both parties take a polygraph before approving the green card. If you fail u get deported, sounds simple enough....?
Wrong SOM. They are not used because they are effecive (and expensive). The same reason genetic screening and genetic records (instead of fingerprints) are not used. There is too much fraud that polygraphs and genetic testing will find. Too much fraud will be exposed.
