Hello all,

I just checked the California Service Center Processing Time Report as of 6/16/2003 for AOS on this link:

http://www.visalaw.com/california.html

It is listing that the CSC is processing cases for the I-130 with Receipt dates 1/14/2003.

I am a USC and waiting for the AOS interview for my wife. Does this mean that we should be notified for an interview date with 2 weeks or less?

My wife's Control Date is 2/19/2003.
It is a marriage base AOS.

Timeline:
Jan 31, 03 we sent I-130, I-485, check etc.
FP in April
EAD in April
AOS Interview: Waiting

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the post KOKO.
Please put up the site where you are getting this information.

A question that I have. Is it dependent on when you put in your I-130 application or when your finger printing was done. Since I know not much is done before the finger printing results are out.

I am wondering also when the medical examination is done. Is it possible for you to attend the interview without the medical results.

Garcia,

1- The old VISAPRO is listing the July 1 info:

http://www.visapro.com/California-Service-Center.asp

2- I am not sure what it depends on. I would guess the BCIS start calculating from the CONTROL Date.

3- I have had my wife take the medical exam ($350 here in Los Angeles) and get it ready so when we are called for the AOS interview the medical exam results are ready. SO I have the medical exam results now hoping we'll be called for the interview soon. I know the medical exam is only valid for 6 months or so.

Regards,

KOKO

We filed in October of 2003 at the local L.A. Downtown office and nothing yet so far. The last I heard (I called the Congressman's office) is a 9 month wait from the date of filing (I-485 and I-130). Our time is coming up this month. He said that if we don't get anything this month, to wait another 30 days before contacting his office, so they can do an investigation.

Another lady on this board filed the same day we did. She already had an interview about 6 weeks ago. So, you never know. One might be luckier than the other.

So, I think the timeline on the board, is not correct.

What is confusing here, is when you say that the documents were filed at the CSC, do you mean the local office or Laguna? If it's Laguna, then I have no idea how long it takes, but I don't think they should have gone to Laguna. This type of a case should only go through the Los Angeles Downtown office.
