hi,
what is the longest time can I-485 process take?
and how long can we just hold the I-485 process, without doing anything. I mean once we get EAD, how long can we strech I-485 process.?

My labor condition says that I get paid $60~K a year, and I am currently close to $50k. I am finished with I-140 too.

My Company says that they'll process only when I get actually $60~k a year, which will take atleast 4years or so if not longer.

Hence cannot process I-485, however, if we do process I-485, company wants to make sure that by the time I get my green card, my salary should be as much as what its says in Labor. So I am thinking of starting I-485 process, and wait for as long as I could ...

any idea.. or is there otherthing that is possible.. and or is this possible without waiting and just going ahead.
