As of today still l havent heard anything from INS..My lawyer made a request twice but INS didnt respond him either...I dont know what is going on..Nebreska center is working slow maybe..By the way l didnt have my biometrics either so far for I-751...How can l get information about my case?My extension is ending 1st july 07.will INS send me another extension?Ca l travel to my country??

No, you'll have to make an infopass appointment at your local office and get a stamp I-551 in your passport. You can re-enter the US with that stamp.

when l got my first extension l went to local office and they didnt stamp my passport..l was told l dont need a stamp.

because back than you had NOA that said "...extended until XX 2007" which was a valid proof of your status, and did not needed anything more (like stamp).

My lawyer told me today he received an e mail from Nebraska center saying that my file is sent to local district office..Is that mean l will have an interview??my extension is expiring by july 1st and Local office still hasnt sent me any notice or a letter for an interview or anything else...l have no idea what is going on...

Thats what it means usually,if your file is now at a local office,I am sure they'll contact you for an interview.

Otherwise,your 10 year greencard would be sent directly from Nebreska.

When you go to the USCIS page and type in your case number,what message do you get today there?

and from what state are you from?

my local office is helena district office..Montana..They didnt send me anyting so far..l dont know how long l am gonna wait more..
