Here is the case

My husband had applied for political asylum, and that was denied. He then appealed the political asylum case, and that also was denied. Then our lawyer filed paperwork for a motion to re-open. The motion to reopen based on our marriage, was granted.

My question is about Employment Authorization. Can my husband renew his Employment Authorization now, and if he can what status does he fill in the paperwork.

Did you file the motion to reopen wit hthe court? If you did, get a fee stamp for the I485 and then when you do that you are able to apply for EAD

The Motion to Reopen was granted from the Board of Immigration Appeals. We are still waiting for notification of our court date. Can you please tell me what a fee stamp is? and how we would do this? Thanks
