Exactly what issues am I dodging, S12? I'm against illegal immigration, but am clearly not the hater that you are. Your references to vaseline and Jerry are purely childish if you are indeed a Vietnam vet (older than me). I can't figure out what pleasure you are getting from all of these hateful posts, but I see the words 'GEEZER' spelled across that red neck hat you are wearing! From a mid-fifty to sixty year old, you are truly a disgrace to this country subjecting people who haven't even come here to your hateful rants. I don't want Americans portrayed in this light, so talk all the vaseline and Jerry you want - everyone will see who has the higher IQ between us.
explain why illegals should get green cards or any other benefit ahead of those waiting their turn to immigrate legally to the US...explain why 12M illegals should not be forced to go back to their own countries....explain why illegal alien brats should be given in-state tuition, something not even our military folks can get....explain why illegals should not be forced to either (a) pay their medical bills from the $30B they send back to their beer-swilling countries or (b) be deported and NEVER allowed to return to the US legally until they pay every dime they owe....

I am sorry to interrupt you conversation here, but you are wrong Someone12. As soon as a military member served one tour in the “War against Terrorism” the college education is free. This is for AD and NG. If a soldier is KiA, the free college education transfers over to ALL of his/ her children.. You always ask why illegals should be allowed to stay here. I agree with a lot of your points, but let me ask you that… why and how should I (an illegal immigrant) go home? I pay taxes, so my lazy sister in law can just work 20 hours a week (so she can keep her food stamps), my taxes pay your mothers or Grandmothers Medicare. I am probably more law abiding than most USC , I don’t even speed.
sorry scumbag...but you know nothing about our laws..(and if you did, you would not be violating them)...how should you go home...EZ....take an FN plane. Military family members who get transferred from one state to another cannot get in state tuition...and neither should any dirtbag llegal alien ...ever...your 'taxes' are nonexistent becuase you cannot have a legitimate SSN, likely are paid cash under the table..so go home $hit-for-brains....we don't want pondscum in my country.

Sir, you are wrong. Military members don’t need in-state tuition because the college is FREE is they serve one (1) tour on behalf of WoT. These days, no matter if you are AD or NG, you usually serve. The military will pay for it, even if you are moving around. I am sorry if this didn’t apply for you, since you served in Vietnam, but now it is that way. What was your old rank, so I can refer to you in the proper way? I have a hard time not to call you what goes through my mind when I read your postings, so a rank would make things way easier. About my SS#, it is legitimate, I went with my husband to the SS office and received it there. Your idea with the airplane is not too bad, I thought about that, but since I can’t take my children with me I didn’t do it. Any other suggestions? You didn’t answer my question why I should leave. Would you mind taking some of your precious time to do so?
of course you can take your children with you....airplanes have lots of seats. And military family members cannot, repeat, cannot benefit from in-state tuition if they are transferred to another state.... make reservations early to get a good seat on the next flight back to your own country.

Sir, did you ever hit your head? It seems to me that your frontal lobes suffered serious damage. Don’t be embarrassed, there is help out there for that.
To make it easier on you (since your are brain injured) I will repeat myself: I am not allowed to take my kids with me. So any other suggestions?
Why would you need in- state tuition if the military will pay for it completely? And Sir, you still didn’t answered my question why I should leave, but of course I understand… the frontal lobes….. life is hard and not always fair.
because you don't belong here.....that is why...illegal aliens have NO right to be in the US of A...so...leave....and take your frontal lobes with you.
He's a person who has no value added opinions on this board anymore, Vegado. His tired reponses are old and no one is listening anymore. I think it's best to stop responding and feeding his frenzy. Maybe if we all stop responding, S12 will go away. I think he has nothing better to do than sit on this forum waiting to bash the next immigrant with his tired rhetoric!

In a couple of months I want to apply to a H2B visa working program, and I really hope to get this visa, but I don't really know all the advantages of this visa, and my question for you is: for what kind of visa I can apply while I am in USA, so that I can work even after the H2B visa ends, but i won't have any problems with the law? Thank you and I hope you will clarify my with this issue.
You cannot apply for an H2b in the next two months unless you have had one before in the last three years, because they hit the CAP which is the quota for the fiscal year. You can apply for next October or starting dates after that, and you can file your application 120 days before the date of need. There has to be something about your job that makes it seasonal, temporary or a one time or intermittant need and the date of need must matc the occupation. It is usually used for jobs that are not professional. You can also apply for an H1b BUT THOSE WON'T BE AVAILABLE UNTIL OCTOBER 2008 AND YOU CANNOT FILE UNTIL 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE DATE OF NEED ON aPRIL 1, 2008. THEY RAN OUT THIS YEAR IN TWO DAYS. They are 3 year visas for professional jobs. Otherwise you can apply for a permanent labor certification which will probably involve an even longer wait unless your job requires a masters. Would you like to go to school on a student visa?

I belong here, and my husband had no right to do what he did. You can jump up and down like Rumpelstilzchen , my frontal lobes and I will stay here, and if the only reason I stay is, to annoy you.
You seem to have your Tourette syndrom pretty much under control today.
to Vegado: you know personally i have no issues with illegals but because of what you said i wanted you to think of something. generally i wouldnt mind how many illegals come here and try to make a life but because of the huge amount the government adjusts policy that affects legals too which includes me. i spent the last 4.5 years in this country getting my degree, paying for living costs, insurance..everything i was asked for following the legal path to have the best chance to work here. i was going to apply to h1b on april but they caped in 2 days. now i have no chance of staying and working here even though my job is in great demand for foreigners as well as americans. the only reason the cap number is so low is because of illegals who pay absolutely nothing to the u.s. government in order to move in here a decade or 2 ago the cap was x5 and never was a problem. once they get in they might pay taxes/rent and etc' but think about the legal ones trying to do it right and having to pay for the illegals, the illegals dont have anyone to answer to or pay they only get deported if found(as they should, i'm sorry with all due respect society has rules for a reason) and we the legal ones have to suffer and pay instead. after spending almost 150,000$ on education, living costs i will most likely be deported next year when my OPT runs out since i cant get my H1B this year. while you get to stay here and live(a hard life most likely, cant imagin life being easy for any illegal but it was your choice) i cant stay here and the life i tried to build in the right way will be destroyed because of that.
You seem to have some kind of college education, so how come that you voice your “ opinion” without reading the background information available on this board? Didn't they teach you that in college? The reason why I am here illegal is free to read, I posted it. Why don’t to check that first before you allow yourself to judge? I don’t know anything about the visa you are here on, and actually I don’t even care. I don’t understand what you mean by “ the caped in two days” You applied 2 days to late? Not my problem. I don’t take anybody’s job or college away, I don’t need to work and I am not in college anymore. What exactly do you know about what taxes I pay? Somebody must know that I am here, since they send me my property taxes every year. What do you pay out for me? You don’t get deported, when you visa expires, you just need to go home. I didn’t destroy your live with being here, but of course if you are so eager to have my life as an illegal immigrant (you still don’t know why I am here illegal) why don’t you buy my children and me a plain ticket, and take my punishment for leaving the US with my children on? Of course you would have to take all the other stuff what makes my life sometimes difficult, too, but I don’t think you would mind, since in your opinion my life is difficult because I am here illegal. Gal, being here illegal is most of the time the least of my worries, so come on, let’s switch life for 2 weeks, and then talk again.

Hey gal, Every cloud has a silver lining. Anybody that gets deported leaves with nothing. You have a degree to take back with you.
I don't know anything about the cap number being so low because of illegals. You said generally you wouldn't mind how many illegals come here but guess it's caught your attention now because of policy adjustments. Maybe you just didn't apply in time and it got capped and you're trying to project the blame onto the illegals here. You're angry with yourself because you didn't apply in time. Yeah, I guess life goes on and changes every so many years.
As you said, society has rules, guess in this case it applies to you as well since the rules occasionally change. There's limits to everything. My apologies it didn't work out for you.
The life you tried to build isn't destroyed. You have a degree from an American university. Much more than many will ever dream of having. Some of us could never in our lifetimes dream of expenses of $150,000 for an education/expenses in this country or any other so I have no sympathy at all for you.
Instead of thinking how hard life is for any illegal that's here (and you won't be here it might behoove you to think about putting your degree to use in your country and next time APPLY ASAP, surely in 4.5 years you learned that somewhere! At least you'll take that bit of knowledge with you for next H1B application. (You'll also take knowledge of our policies with you as well. So there! Life isn't that bad afterall, is it?
This message has been edited. Last edited by: explora,
you guys are way way beyond my point, i am not angry or blaming anyone here. i am only trying to raise an issue most of your ignore. all i am saying is by having a continuing illegal problem in this country LEGAL workers who try to get in have a much much harder time..they pay the policy price due to the illegal problem. that's what i mean. and since you know nothing about the visa cap dont tell me about applying early, with all do respect illegals just hop a border and walla.. legal ones have to plan months ahead and hope they will get the available visas even if they qualify and are highly talented AND have a company wishing to hire them. the problem is the government policies trying to fix the illegal problem by shrinking down legals and making it harder for them. thus making legals pay for 1 problem (out of many) that illegals brought to the table.
explora you think i have 150,000$ stacked in my sock? i worked very hard and very long and i will work for a very long time to pay it off. and yes the life i was trying to build is about to fall because i came to school here in order to have a good chance to work here and start a career. but lack of visas(which no one can predict, not this year if you read about it..) stopped that. i didnt ask for your sympathy too it's funny how no one looks beyond their point of view, do you really believe that it is fair that some people hop a border and a few years later might become citizens without paying a single extra dime(i dont mean taxes/living costs..all americans pay that) while legal ones pay a lot of money and a lot of time to try and make it..and they have much worse of a chance? that i simply dont understand about this country.. i wouldnt want to kick any illegals out please if it was up to me citizenship tomorrow but only if the same was offered to LEGAL ones..i believe illegals should have no extra right or chance than LEGAL workers in this country..if you disagree about that then i am afraid you are just an egocentric fool.
