Hi all,
I was looking fwd to chat with Mr. Gene Meltser today but I am getting an error & can't join the chat room. So here is my qs. for everyone or Mr. Meltser if he is reading this:

My father is a US citizen & filed I-130 for me. I am eligible to apply for AOS once my priority date becomes current. Unfortunately, my father lost close to 2 mil. in a bussiness & he had to file a company bankrupcty this year.

I am afraid now his income might not meet the requirement of 125 % above poverty level since he is in a transition & not currently working. However, my brothers who arrived in USA in May this year (on greencard visas) got decent jobs here. They are single and not dependent on my father but we all live in a same household. Since they are new in this country so they have never filed taxes (but will file it next year). So, is it possible to include their income in affidavit of support??

I will really appreciate any input / help from you guys.

Thanks!

Just have the brothers fill in an I-864A as household members. To be a sponsor, one must be an LPR or USC. There is no stipulation on how long one has been an LPR so your brothers would qualify.
