do you have any other household members? any dependands you are claiming on your tax return? sponosred somebody else before?

In 2007, for 2 people (you and your fiance) you have to make above $17.112 (Alaska $21.400, Hawaii $19.687). Looks like you are OK on this one..

Something else to look at. Although the dollar amounts are same as far as what is required the time duration is different. The I-864. You'll need that if you go through with the marriage and adjustment of status.

It basically obligates you to support your wife for 10 years. Even if she leaves you the day after she gets her green card your stuck. Both the I-134 and I-864 are contracts between yourself and the Gov which a divorce decree does NOT supercede.

If your fiancee has work skills and has a job where she is then you probably have nothing to worry about since she would most likely get a job in the event of divorce. If on the other hand she is used to being taken care of, well.

You voted democrat. This country is not worth sneaking into any more.

hi , thanks for ur answers, well i made a mistake concerning my fiancee annual income, it shows on her tax return for 2006:18.310 USD.she has no household memebers, and no dependands claimed on the tax return, she has never sponsored someone before..do u think a 18.310 USD enough for her affidavit or support ? her salary is getting better since next month ,do u think they'll take that into consideration too ? am a bit worried since none can make the co sponsor..hope to hear from u ,thanks so much for the help u give..bless u.

Who is who in your story?

USC should make above the poverty line... it is a good idea to get a letter from employer stating terms of employment and salary (if current salary is higher then the one in 2006).

hi Aneri, she is my fiancee who is in the story, her annual income as shown on her tax return for 2006 is 18.160, so she is worried about the affidavit of support for me ..what documents does she need to send together with the affidavit of support ? thanks all for the help and advises..
