Aside watching Moor's latest make fun of the idiots movie we had a pleasant surprise. The card arrived this afternoon.
Just wanted to say thanks to all who helped in one form or another. Those deserving accolades for their contributions; S12, Sprint, RN,PUSC, MIR, Koller , Hudson, Houston etc. for either knowledge or just lending an ear or keyboard. A special thanks to our attorney in San diego whom I would recommend, deserved, and received a bonus. My version of spreading the wealth, LOL.

It would make for an interesting read if turned to a novel. It's got romance, greed, revenge, crooked lawyers, death threats, spying, extortion, embezzlement, and all other the good things that make life interesting. The happenings on this board are ho hum compared to this. However, the story is not over just yet.
There are two final acts left to play out. Here's a tidbit of what's to follow. Not long ago a letter from one of the main character's attorney was sent to the other. There are still old property issues being resolved from a prior marriage. In the letter was a statement that was overlooked by the receiving lawyer. Not so much missed as not correctly interpreted. It appears the new Mrs. ******* is using the old Mrs ****** information to gain residency
Accusations of identity theft? This by the attorney herself? After inquiring as to specifically what, it was said it had do with social security numbers and ID. ID?, perhaps a passport that was confessed to have been falsely reported stolen over 2 years ago? None of it true, but given the precarious nature and position of one going through an as yet approved adjustment of status, it would serve to apply a certain amount of coercion to the opposing side in a property dispute. Especially since those comments and accusations were not merely shared between disputing parties, they were given over to people of authority as fact.
Strange also were the interviews where nearly no questions about the legitimacy of the current living arrangements were given. Instead, the focus was on entanglements of old acquaintances. Phone calls were made to lawyers confessing to past transgressions but with enthusiastic denial of any recent wrong doing. A bungled plea attempt to regain employment after being terminated for spying.
With the case closed now comes the opportunity to request copies of those records that caused a six month process to last over two & half years. What little gains the parasites had will be sliced away as the pendulum of justice swings back and corrects itself after being deceived.

I am very sad to hear that you had some sort of success doing anything at all (even though not familiar with your case. Have you been granted a GC or something?)

The only optimistic thought I can get reading your "victory" post is that karma indeed does not exist.
Karma is a ***** tale we heard as children but it does not account for how nature really operates.
you see, when lion eats buffalo, both lion and buffalo could make up a karma story to either justify or accept the outcome. imagine a lion being told that buffalo made some transgression for which it deserved to be eaten. or imagine a buffalo being told that it was being eaten by lion for the same mythical transgression. funny, isn't it.
luckily, animals lack that self-deceiving consciousness that is so innate to us humans.
in fact lion eats buffalo because the only way it can survive is by eating and buffalo happens to be a food it is capable of preying on, killing and eating. and buffalo gets eaten by a lion mostly because it's buffalo (a food of lion by definition) and also, in most cases, because it's either unlucky to be in wrong spot at the wrong time or else is weakest in herd and thus being picked by lions as easiest to get prey.
