May you mean I-485 Affidavit of Support, or the I-765 Employment Authorisation Document? If you mean I-485 that's a biggie, got to prove you have enough money to support your spouse (& kids) so they don't claim certain benefits from US government. I-765 is permission for non-US citizen to work in the USA.

The I-485 is the application to adjust status. The I-864 is the affidavit of support.

Passing by, of course it is - Sorry Southpark, my mistake, now It's me who can't get the numbers straight. This whole process is doing my head in, trying to remember all the form numbers!
