My fiance was recently turned away at his exit interview and told to 'hold on' to his passport as they had 'further processing' to do. Nothing else was told to him. After writing to my congressman who subsequently wrote to the Embassy, we were told that they doubted the validity of our relationship and that the case had been forwarded to the investigations unit. They never asked Craig for any of the evidence, nothing. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Does anyone know what they could be investigating or who they could be talking to? They don't have names or numbers. We did not videotape our sex or record our phone calls.
Let me know if you have had a similar experience. This seems to be the only time I've seen anyone have problems with the interview. He was very nervous and maybe they thought he was lying or something?
