Hi,

I have received my citizenship interview on Sept 10, 2003 from San Francisco INS office.
However, I had a job change and need to relocate to Boston, MA by the end of Jul, 2003.
If I give change of address to Boston, can I still keep my scheduled interview date with San Francisco INS office? Or once I call and give change of address, the BCIS transfers my file from SF INS office to Boston office? If they do that, how long will it take for me to get a rescheduled interview from Boston INS office? Is there any way I can keep my interview date on Sep 10th? Any suggestion that would help me not delay my citizenship process will be much appreciated.

You are required to file an AR-11 change of address and notify WAC of your change of address.Once your moved, you are not longer under the jurisdiction of the SF District Office.
This is a call you need to make whether your new job or the citizenship.

After you move to Boston, you should write to BCIS office in San Francisco giving them their new Address and reuqest them to transfer you file to Boston asap. You must attach Interview letter with it and keep a copy for yourself. In will delay your interview about 2 - 3 months.
Good luck.

What about residency requirement in the state? Would he need 6 months in Boston?

The requirement is to file the application. In her case her application was filed but she is moving to another state.
