Hi Mari,

Welcome to ILW! Have you discussed your situation with an immigration attorney? It seems a bit complicated and you would probably do best to talk to a professional. Good luck.

You are not really being deported at this point but you are supposed to leave after your authorization expires. Do you not understand this?

I believe that any removal proceedings will be halted while you are in deferred action status until the investigation into the actions of your former employer are concluded. Then you would have to return to your homeland and apply for another H1. You don't have status but you will not continue to accrue unlawful status while in deferral, UNTIL the outcome of the investigation.

mari: the key word-phrase is "temporary worker"...not permanent....and your time is up...so go home, just like you promised...otherwise, you are just another lying illegal, who always wants to blame others...but...has anyone stopped you from going to the airport? (hint: no)..so why aren't you gone yet? Please....leave...
