Anyone can point to bad occurances in a bureaucracy that processes 1,000,000 legal immigrants a year...so, what is your point??

Susie: You assert to be little miss goody-goody, and get all high-and-mighty when your motives are legitimately challenged. I say that you're more interested in showing America in a bad light...otherwise, you would quietly assist those with immigration problems, rather than living the high life with "various reporters and TV producers."

No one on this thread is badmothing America, SD. Apperantly, you being a dumbass shows how little analytical skills you actually have to differentiate between the two. "Bad occurances" as you put it can come from the code and regulations which do not provide reasonable accomdations to those circumstances, can come from the agency by mishandling the case, or a combination of both. This is what Susie and QT have stated. And the fact that you are making errouneous accusations toward Susie shows how little intellect you can demostrate on this forum.

maybe we should put the All-Knowing Hudson in charge of immigration....shoot...maybe even the whole world....or, maybe NOT.
Foreign Service Officers run rings around UCIS employees....to work at UCIS, all one has to do is fog a mirror....to become an Foreign Service OFficer, one has to take a battery of written and **** exams that reduce 25,000 applicants to mere hundreds each year---far better educated and far smarter than any of the whining illegal alien supporters on this (or any other) site, including the All Knowing All Seeing Hudson.
And it is tiresome listening to whining would-be immigrants belittle our country and its processes....if you don't like our system, by all means go back to your own "efficient, honest, corruption-free" country....no one will stop you.

Can we get back to the opening thread, please ?

We are all entitled to our own opinion but should not get personal

Thank you Hudson for your input on such a serious subject.

I am well aware of the process since I took the exams. I passed the written, but not the **** exams, and not by much BTW. I was asked to be reconsidered the following year, but I declined since I already found another job at that time. However, I seriously doubt you would have passed any of the exams,

SunDevil or Son of the Devil and all the immigrant-haters better change their ways this New Year. First of all, you guys must accept the fact that immigrants, legal or not, are human beings like us. We're all God's children. Yes, they have a choice and might have made a bad choice and decision. But figures show that most come to America for economic reasons. Immgration is a privilege not right; so why deprive them of this privilege that was also given to the early Americans who were immigrants themselves? Immigrants have sad stories to tell. Sometimes, they have no one and nowhere to turn to except discussion forums like this one. People like you SonDevil is the reason why ther world hates America today.

So, did you take the exam by the time you were 35 or not?

Kumar555: With all due respect, I challenge you to find any time that I have requested immigration-related assistance on this site (or any other).

You win policy arguments with facts, not fiction...you ought to try it sometime. Until then, you're nothing but a liar.

Ooooh, and by the way, I have NEVER been "bagging for help," either here or anywhere else. What does "bagging for help" mean anyway? It seems to me that your time would be better spent learning how to communicate in English.

Yeah, it's okay to break laws as long as you can cry about it later, and how much you wish to have a good life.

I'm off to steal a tv. You know, i suffer so much with this non-working one. My pain, my pain. I'm just seeking a better life.

In my line of work, you are either a tax cheat or a tax protestor. So which one are you?

Two can play this game and I can get you where it really harts. But you will probably go on some mantra that the tax code is unfair (whining) and that the tax code should be repealed (more whining). And then you will go to your representative (even more whining) and complain how unfair the tax agencies are because you did not fulfill the legal obligations of filing and paying your tax on time (and even more whining).
