Hello!

I'm preparing my paperwork for the greencard based on marriage. My husband and I are planning on having our wedding reception (we got married 2 weeks ago) in May in my mother's hometown. Since I will need to travel, I am filing an I-131 with all my other forms. I am confused on how to fill it out right. Am I requesting advance parole or reentry? It wasn't clear from reading the instructions which one I need to request based on my type of application.

Any advice/experience would be great!

If you are already in the United States and you're leaving the country, you need to file for a reentry permit, not advance parole.
