On May 4 i passed my naturalization exam and the immigration officer who interviewed me said that a decision about my case will be mailed to me after they receive "THE FBI NAME CHECK". 9 months later, still no response. I paid three visits to the USCIS in NY and same response all the time "BE PATIENT, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR FBI NAME CHECK CLEARANCE". I AM getting soso frustrated here as i am trying to bring my wife to the US. i was told that even if i complaint to my senator or congressman, they won't be able to do anything about it. If you have any suggestions, please help! thank you..

P.S. i also never got my 10 years green card after the removal of conditions was approved. they told me that my naturalization shouldn't take too long, so i don't need the actual card since i have a stamp valid for one year !

Hey msayoufi...

You (like myself) are stuck in "FBI name check". It will probably take years before the FBI name check is completed on its own. Unless you take action you will hear the same story over and over "be patient it will soon be completed". I have been stuck in it for over 6 months. I am starting to contact all possible parties - USCIS directors, Congresmans. I will send letters to everyone and complain and bag as many parties as i can find. From this web site i noticed it works sometimes. I'll wait 30 to 60 days if no resolution then i will file WOM (lawsuit in federal court against USCIS) this will force USCIS to act on making a decision in my case for Green Card.

Tomek.
