i am illegal here. i am not under the process of deportation. the case is still in court. there's a chance that i will lose the case.

my questions are:

1.what could happen if i lose the case! will INS arrest me. i purchased two house while i was here few years ago. will the ins give me time to sell my property bfore they deport me.

2. i had been dateing my Girl friend for 3 years. she is a green card holder. if i marry her after i lost the case. will this help me. can i ajust my status here.

many thanks

1. If you lose, ask for voluntary departure, so you can have time to gather your things and dispose of your property.

2. You could marry before and try to render the case moot, since you could submit an AOS. You would need to show a strong relationship before the case was started, or else you could be denied AOS.
