What?

Is this a tongue twiser or what?

How many people are in your question? How many are your friends, how many husbands and how many wives?

Do you mean someone came here on a K3 visa and now they want to divorce the person they came to marry and then marry another US citizen?

Am not sure about this, but I think the second marriage will be looked at VERY VERY suspiciously by USCIS because she came here to marry the first guy, so she should not be here if she cant marry guy number 1.

To marry guy #2 may require a lot of proof that the marriage is legit.

Maybe someone else knows how these things go, I hope someone else helps on this one.

Personally I feel she should NOT marry the second guy unless she really loves the second guy coz marriage is more than just keeping status.

It may not be worth the heartache if you know what I mean, unless no 'hearts' are involved.

This is what is known as a fraudulent marriage.
As you said , " AND NOW SHE IS PLANNING TO GET MARRIED AGAIN SO THAT HER STATUS CAN BE SAVED.."

Marrying in order to save status is not a reason to be adjusted. She came and got married and then was divorced..why? Is that because he realized She was marrying him for her papers?
I hope your friend doesnt get her papers because she is why so many legitimate applicants have a hard time. Shame on you and her for helping to create another immigration fraud.

SO WHAT FOR YOU?? IM asking how long is the process... i don't care to your comments.. helo be practical! almost all the illegal immigrants here is marrying a USC so that they can be legalized here... for me I prefferd to marry a usc to be legalized than to become "illegal Immigrants"

THINK BRO!!!!!!

Othere centers processing times may vary.

OK, hopefully you get a straighforward answer (to the extent that is even possible).

It is difficult to answer your question because there are a lot of uncertain terms used.

First, visas are not "cancelled" so exactly was cancelled.

Anyway, if your friend was married to hubby #1 and now they are divorced, make sure she has all the divorce paperwork before she marries Hubby #2 and that Hubby #2 is a USC. Otherwise she is no better off.

My husband's adjustment of status from the time he submitted the I-485 and the receipt of his green card was 15 months, in San Francisco.

You should care.
Too many people come to the USA and jump into sham marriages in order to obtain a greencard. Thats why its so hard on everyone adjusting based on a LEGITIMATE marriage. What you said on this forum is why you would be denied because Im sure that the third person is YOU.
Sham marriages get found out. If the man that was married to your friend has withdrawn the application then your friend is already out of status. How suspicious does it look to come here on a K3 and then its withdrawn and oops the K3 just "finds" a new husband.

In some cases up to 3 years, like in our situation. All depends on where you file. But what she is doing is ILLEGAL and will be investigated by BCIS.

I have tried to stay out of HOT discussions and keep my opinions to myself but I must agree with Lost in US on this one. MOST of my headaches/heartaches stem from people abusing the system. If it were not for these people my life and my wives life would be much easier. As for iyay saying "almost all the illegal immigrants here is marrying a USC so that they can be legalized here... for me I prefferd to marry a usc to be legalized than to become "illegal Immigrants" ", this is a bunch of ^!@#%!!! I know in my own experience that my wife has NO desire to be a USC or stay here if it was not for being married to me.

Sorry, I have sat on the sidelines toooo long and listened to some of this talk going back and forth that has no merit.

I agree Mr. Froggy
My hubby and I waited almost 4 years before filing anything. He was an EWI. Then we began to see the importance of legal status. These folks make it harder on those of us who have REAL marriages and lives, not fake ones.
