First and forement, both the US and China, as wll as Japan and ROK have a vested interest in a nuclear free zone on the Korean Pennisula. Second, any attack would go to Japan first and foremost, This has to do with the cultural animosity NK has toward Japan, with some valid points. ROK has, to some degree, reconsiled with Japan on the matter. Finally, both the US and China are cooperating fully in diplomatic relations on the issue. This has embarrassed China to a great deal and are now withholding valuabel grain shipments. Japan is following suit.
