Just wondering if anybody has hearn similar cases.
One of my buddies recived his approval notice back in August (employment based). His wife was supposed to be a direct beneficiary of his application;hence, she hasn't recieved an approval notice yet. (They got married before he (them) filed for I-140 and I-485) Is this normal? Are the spouses of applicants not supposed to recieve their green cards as well?
I know a lot of people(couples) who recieved their Approval notices at the same day by mail.
He's been trying to call, e-mail etc. USCIS with no luck. Any suggestion? Thanks

It is normal that the applicant and spouse's application is approved separately.
Having said that, your friend's wife does file a separate I-485 doesn't she?

Yes, she did file separately. However, they had recieved all their EADs, fingerprint notices etc. at the same time. I know other couples in the same boat and they all had recieved their approval notices at the same time. Weird...
