It really is something to keep an eye on. Many earthquakes in the region, 7.8 being the biggest one..let's hope that nothing big happens. They already had a Tsunami warning.

Let's not forget that Indonesia and the Philippines lost lives, houses and much more in the recent typhoons.

It's bad over in that part of the world of late. They said the quake was 7.8. Quite powerful. Now waiting for the tsunami to hit.

I do hope nothing happens, it looks quite worrying right now that way. I believe the Tsunami warning was canceled according to a friend of mine, but they are watching carefully for sure.


Sure has been some bad weather/ quakes around the world lately.


Tsunami warning sparks Pacific panic

The quakes were a little far away to really affect NZ. They were pretty close to Vanuatu so there was a tsunami warning and a little bit of panic there - especially since they wound up with a total of 9 by the end of the day.
