Hey Hudson ,

Thanks for your kind words. We are having a downpour, but no high winds yet. I think that's supposed to happen around 2:00 PM or so. We'll probably go down to the marina and make sure the boat is okay. Not much we can do about it if it's not (and we just got her repaired from the last storm - lol!)

I'm more worried about Ike and our friends in Florida! My prayers are going in that direction and hoping that Ike weakens before making landfall!

Hanna passed through here last night. Wasn't too bad, mostly rain and some wind at times. Have fun up North

Is it sunny down there today? I'm trying to determine how fast this storm will get out of here - lol!!! Hoping to get at least one day on the boat this weekend (since there aren't too many good weekends left).

Yup..sunny down here now. It's moving NE at 22mph. Fast for a tropical storm. I had to move the airplane up to NC so it could go in a hanger. I'm back home at the moment.

Ike is the one to watch now. I hope it doesn't head up this way.

We had the most awesome looking sky tonight and I didn't have a camera with me!!!! After the storm passed, it cleared, but there were these ominous clouds lurking around. Really interesting. Our area averaged around 5 inches of rain today - our rivers are swollen to their peaks. But, all in all, I think we did okay.

I am glad your family did not have any problems with the tropical storm. Hurricane Ike may hit Florida or it may swing around and hit Alabama and Mississippi. The good news is that hurricane Josephine will no one, except Bermuda, maybe.
