I am also having probs on IE, even though I don't really use it. Where should I look and what should I do to fix this?
Too much **** running on your computer. The memory is probably used up. On the bottom right of the screen (next to the clock) is a listing of programs running. Right click on those that don't need to be operating and select exit. That will free up some memory. More than likely you have a lot of spyware running in the background. Talk to your son about the sites he visits.

Even though you have lots of memory it could be filled up with all kinds of garbage running in the background. I had something similar and it was due to loads of spyware running. Try this. Have the browser running and bring up a page. Minimize it. Click on firefox again, new instance. Does it come up? If it does then it could be how its set up. If you get nothing then you are being spyed on.

Done all that..still not working. I can only load another tab when I click on a bookmark, but once I try and log in, like yahoo mail for example, it won't do anything but try to load. I don't have any icons in lower right corner other than the normal ones. Looks like I can't multitask until I get this sorted. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God Bless America - God Bless Immigrants - God Bless Poor Misguided Souls Too Mr S.U.

You uninstalled firefox and re-downloaded it and installed it again and it still does this? You may have a nasty virus or something along those lines. Here is something else to try. Shut the computer down again. Before turning it back on disconnect the internet cable from the computer. Watch how the computer starts. See if anything strange happens. If there is something on there that should not be it may do something to expose itself when there is no internet available.

It crashed..I don't have the patience right now, I guess I will try and uninstall and reinstall again and uninstall spyware in case its that. I have hijacked my son's computer for the time being. I seem to be having problems with anything technical or electrical lately. My cell has gone crazy amongst other things, maybe I have some weird static power that causes this lol Thanks Davdah. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God Bless America - God Bless Immigrants - God Bless Poor Misguided Souls Too Mr S.U.

Hey dude, whats up. You know what Sprint, that might be true. It could be the electrical grounding of the house itself. If you have several things acting up the one common item is the power. Every house has ground fault protection. If yours is faulty that may cause all sorts of weird things to happen. And, since you had recent thunder storms that may hav affected the quality of the electrical service in the area with any lightning strikes on the grid. An electrician would be able to tell you if your house has any issues.

Hey CM! Davdah..you might be right there. Weird things are happening in this house I can tell you! lol Do you think that will explain the battery operated items going off in my house during a storm too? lol Even my door bell suddenly doesn't work, can't find fault. And no my house is not haunted lol -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- God Bless America - God Bless Immigrants - God Bless Poor Misguided Souls Too Mr S.U.
