Ok..flying out of Orlando to Manchester England, or if available Birmingham, England.

Earliest will be Saturday 31st now as don't know when passport will arrive.

I found it hard to find online as usually they require x amount of days to book it online.

AA not good Frown They want to have verbal confirmation from hospital and loads of other things, as if family really have time for all that. darn

Yeah that is cheap..ill let JK know.

I just had a call from my old British friend who lives in Chicago. Been married and lived here 13 yrs now. He applied for Citizenship a month ago, and had interview a week ago and ceremony other day. Went across the road that day and got his USC passport.

WOW one month is all he had to wait! I guess maybe its because he was here for so long as a GC holder.

That was fast!!! I can't believe he got his US passport same day. At the very least, it usually takes a week if you pay for expedited service. I'm impressed.

Apparently in Chicago, the passport office is across from where he was sworn in, and they gave it to him same day,. Very odd. Mind you, he needs it as he works in Canada most of the time, and in few days he is flying to England for vacation.

I checked to airfare to London and it was higher. The catch here is they want you to fly to Germany and stay over night (again). I guess it's some German hotel promotion or something. I'll keep looking.

Oh cool, thanks Smile

I been calling direct, not getting much chance. I think going through online is cheaper and less trouble.

Only problem is he can't book until he gets the passport. Hopefully we will hear something back from DC tonight or tomorrow.

I always shop around online for tickets. You can usually get a better deal. Well, we'll see when he gets his passport and go from there.

Yeah I do too..but usually getting something such short notice and getting bereavement rates, has to go direct to airline.

I think finding the good deals online is better in this case so it seems.

We needed to find costs though, so he knows what he is looking at.

Thank you for getting all that Proud..easier to check back at it later or tomorrow with itinary Smile
