No DC I didn't, either it got there somehow or from what I read, it was a free trial that possibly came with Windows or something.
Whatever it is, it's fake. It gives pop ups every minute or so (grrr) telling you, you have ex amount of trojans and viruses, but to get rid of them you have to buy it and download it.
If course I won't, hence the constant pop up and it drives you crazy lol
Hundreds of people have had it too, and basically it can be complicated to get rid of it.
I have run every darn spyware etc to get rid of it but no avail until just now
Luckily the real trojans etc were caught from one of my programmes, no damage thankfully
Spyware Doctor is the only one that has stopped it and deleted it as far as I can see.
It has also got back my desktop background and a few other things that AVG and another spyware programme managed to delete
Now I just have to fix some window programmes..jeez what a mess lol
I did find out where one of the trojan's came from, here on ilw.
Anyway..fingers crossed, hope its getting sorted now
