Yes and no RN,see in the islands what we call roti is not what the indians and Pakistanis call roti but it is made from flour.gerra and grounded split peas..Smile

Yeah I know roti bread. The thing is its best to have a gas stove to make them, don't you think?

My old neighbor used to make them for us.

RN, when i go to the indian resturant and ask them for roti the bring out "nan" it's a bread that's made flat.

I agree..there is some difference between Caribbean roti and Indian/pakistani ones. Different ingredient I think too.

Cm there is another type bread too other than nan.

In Indian restaurants they usually only have Nan..but in most Indian/Pakistani households they make roti.
