Well I was taught by my dad's Caribbean neighbor, and my Indian/Pakistani friends Smile

Remember curry is number one favorite dish for the Brits Smile Well as take out goes, as most don't know how to cook it as well.

Chinese is second..then fish and chips I believe lol

But a good Sunday roast is best home cook meal, which I do as often as I can Smile

Chez moi...I cook nothing but international home made food. My son's friends think its quite amazing, never eaten anything like it before and enjoy it Smile

No, never heard of that, Sprint. What's in it? I'm very easy to please as long as liver isn't involved - lol!

Yep you sure was! lol Smile

Back in England I did sometimes cheat though..we have curry mixes already in a jar so it is a matter of adding jar to the chicken and its done.
I do prefer making my own sauces though, tastes more authentic.

Couscous..well the way I am used to having it is..

Semolina wheat grains...not sure what another name for it is, some call it pasta I think.

There is lamb (or you can use another meat), veg like carrots, potatoes, turnip, pumpkin, peppers, chick peas (?)..in fact you can have whatever veg you like in it.

The sauce is tomato based, but with Mediterranean flavor. It's like a stew I guess but not quite.
