A long time ago, Cylons were created by humans of the twelve colonies of Kobol as slave labor and military conquest. They became sentient and rebelled. A war ensue and a truce declared. Now, after 40 years, the cylons annihilated humanity. But some humans survived, led by the sole remaining battlestar Galectica in a search for the lost 13th colony of Kobol, EARTH.

Cylons are machines whose leaders appear human. Some live among us, some as sleeper agents. But there is also dissension among the cyclons: to save humanity or destroy it.
