Hi RoughN,

I can totally understand your point of view - when dcwtech first came in the forum - his tone and words are totally offensive to any Filipino who may read it. I am a permanent resident (TOTALLY LEGAL) here who came in the US following the rules via a true marriage with my husband. Yet, this poster implies that Filipinos are able to come here because one member of the family is in the US which is supposedly a gateway for other family members to come here illegally. Just because he got a lowlife wife from the Philippines is no excuse to castigate the total Philippine populace. I can't almost believe the words I'm reading from him then saying that he can't believe that a WHOLE COUNTRY can be so bad, 80% are bad, drinking and driving are okay, etc. He supposedly just heard it from others and he's repeating it. Just when did the freedom of expression justify being a racist?

It's not just the words that he is saying now, but EVERYTHING that he has said in all his past posts tied in with his present words that make me doubt the sincerity of this poster saying that he is RESPECTING all peoples and cultures. He is saying one thing and yet contradicts himself in several other posts. He SUPPOSEDLY does not have anything against people from the Philippines, yet, he speaks as if Filipinos have secrets and have internal wars with each others and are being "protective" of what's bad about the Filipinos. That's a bunch of c r a p - I should know, the last time I was a resident of that country was 2006 and I have lived there all my life. There are no secrets. There is nothing different about people from that country insofar as other countries are concerned - it has its share of good and bad people. That's a very basic thing that most people here understood. In fact, all the rest of the spouses in this forum who had problems with their immigrant spouses who married for their greencard didn't get the reaction that this poster had. This poster is the only one who dragged the country of his lowlife wife into the picture. I even read him saying to SeanPatrick that SeanPatrick's wife is from the Philippines - which SeanPatrick didn't even acknowledge. All the rest of the RESPECTED members of this forum told this poster's rantings and ravings against people in the Philippines is unfair to the rest of the innocent people from that country (and some have even put him on their ignore list) - from Proud, Sprint, Jake, Jeanine, CMan, Mike, Speed, 4Now, Hudson, etc. I can't remember all the rest of the people who expressed their disagreement with his posts for being a racist and even attacking the ILW, but some of them are Iperson, Kollerkrot, USVIPGuest, Club 27, Kerri, etc.

I still have to see that this poster is really sincere in RESPECTING other people from the Philippines. Insofar as I'm concerned, apologies are shallow if racism is continually being expressed. Words are cheap. He says that he doesn't mean to insult Filipinos. Yet, I read his posts and EVERYBODY agrees that he brings/drags the Philippines to conversations and implies that he knows about a certain things that are secret and negative. He says that he acknowledges the individuality of people - yet, there is the usual negative slant against Filipinos that is unmistakenly there. It doesn't matter what this poster says - his continual dragging of the Philippines is proof that he has an agenda that does not escape me.

I am from the Philippines and proud of my first home country. My mother is there, never left that country and is spending the rest of her life serving God in the church. My cousins are working to feed their families with their honest labor. I have friends from high school who are working double jobs just to be able to send their own kids to private schools. There are also criminals around, extremists who are connected to Al-Qaeda who terrorize everybody and petty thieves here and there. There is no difference between this country's share of good people and bad people from other countries. Everybody gets that, except this poster, and despite explanations by other members who are unbiased because they don't have anything to do with the Philippines, this poster still refuses to get it. It's simple enough, his lowlife wife and her family of illegal aliens destroyed his life - not the Filipino people.

What this poster also does not realize is that his continuous picking on the Filipino people just proves to the non-racists around here that he would be doing the same to their own countries if the immigrant wife happened to come from their own country. Sprintgirl poignantly expressed this, and I believe that she voiced out what all the rest of the non-Filipinos here are thinking. If his immigrant wife happened to come from England, this poster would be including the rest of the British population in his rantings and ravings and complain about their tea and crumpets. This poster would have been saying that he was not prejudiced against the British but he would be continually dragging England in the conversations, dropping bits and pieces about England to presumably add credibility to his claims. Just replace the country Philippines with whatever country his lowlife wife would have come from and he would be picking on that country.

(For dcwtech: No, it's not just 7000 islands/Spanish is not a language spoken by Filipinos - don't confuse that with the interspersed Spanish words in our language/there are not just 4 major languages there/there is no internal "wars" among the people there/drinking and driving are not okay/your wife is not among the members of the affluent and rich because no self-respecting Filipino woman will drink Tanduay and sons of affluent families don't go to become seamen/woman don't wear the pants and no female presidents were ever voted - the first was thrust into power because her husband - who would have been the next president - was murdered by political opponents, the current one came into power because the then current president was impeached)/and other details that don't matter.)

Anyways, just because the Philippines doesn't use the exact phrase "DUI"
in its traffic laws doesn't mean that drinking and driving are okay. Policemen and traffic enforcers who catch drunken drivers there may not have breathalizers - they tell the erring driver to toe a straight line with his arms raised at his side if they smell alcohol in his breath. And laws are in place for this kind of behavior. These are some of those:

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7924
Section 5.
(f) Install and administer a single ticketing system, fix, impose and collect fines and penalties for all kinds of violations of traffic rules and regulations, whether moving or non-moving in nature, and confiscate and suspend or revoke drivers' licenses in the enforcement of such traffic laws and regulations, the provisions of Republic Act 4136 and Presidential Decree 1605 to the contrary notwithstanding. For this purpose, the Authority shall enforce all traffic laws and regulations in Metro Manila, through its traffic operation center, and may deputize members of the PNP, traffic enforcers of local government units, duly licensed security guards, or members of non-governmental organizations to whom may be delegated certain authority, subject to such conditions and requirements as the Authority may impose; and

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1605
Section 3. Violations of traffic laws, ordinances, rules and regulations, committed within a twelve-month period, reckoned from the date of birth of the license, shall subject the violator to graduated fines as follows: P10.00 for the first offense, P20.00 for the second offense, P50.00 for the third offense, a one year suspension of driver's license for the fourth offense, and a revocation of the driver's license for the fifth offense: Provided, That the Metropolitan Manila Commission may impose higher penalties as it may deem proper for violations of its ordinances prohibiting or regulating the use of certain public roads, streets or thoroughfares in Metropolitan Manila.

In case of death, physical injury, or damage to property, the payment to the aforecited fine shall not relieve the offender from any civil as well as criminal liability arising from such death, physical injury, or damage to property.

Granting that some traffic enforcers are bribed and some get away with it, does it follow that "drinking and driving are okay there" as this poster claims? It's a no brainer of course that if people drink and drive and kill other people, will they not be held accountable? I have yet to see a country where injuries/accidents/deaths resulting from drunken drivers are approved and accepted.

I admire your cool-headedness RoughN and I can totally understand where you're coming from. I don't appreciate people who have negative agendas against people from my first home country speaking about the Philippines as if they know the country. In my opinion, this racist poster can NEVER give an unbiased and unprejudiced statement about anybody, especially about people of the country from where his lowlife wife came from.

To Mrs. B and RN,
Although I am not Filipino, hey nobody is perfect oops I have read his comments from time to time. And even though I have not had the time to post my thoughts, his words are offensive to anyone of a different color, ethnicity, race, etc. I agree with both of you.

To DCW,
YOu had a divorce, so what? We live in a country where divorce is more of a norm than an exception. If the woman you married was from California and the same events happened, you would not be pouting as now. From your posts, you met your future wife when she visited her relatives. The relatives happen to live next to you. Kinda of convenient for you, but no more. You "dated," allegedly fell in love, and helped them out. But how you helped them was more of your own doing than anyone else. YOu gifted money to them to purchase a house with a verbal commitment to place your name. It just so happens, according to you, that the marriage was about starting to fell apart. A few more incidents here and there, and you found yourself homeless, etc. This is about as good as a Hollywood script. However, what are the parts you are not telling us DCW? My guess is that the marriage was on the rocks from the beginning. My guess is also that the gifting oft he money was more about collecting kudos from your in laws who were already upset with you about how you are treating your wife. My guess is also you had your wife more as a trophy than someone who to share your life with.

You have acted stupidly on this forum. You have talked to yourself constantly by replying to your won threads on several occasions at least. And now you just cannot stand it that someone who married you, who is from a different background and you helped somewhat has now divorced you and your pride and your arrogance cannot comprehend that most of the situation you are in was caused and committed by you and you alone. It is time to be a man instead of a mouse and own up to your misdeeds to your ex wife and her family. I am not saying they are totally innocent in the affair, but you are not innocent either. It must start with you before you can move ahead with your life. This bitterness will eat you up alive and most people on this board will not take what you say with kudos much longer.

To the gang,
Well, the first round is over. It is now time for me to sleep for a few days and rest. I should be more active on this board.

To CM,
How is your I-485 case going?

Mike, I am very disappointed in you. You are failing at your job man. It might be time for the tax man to come and get you here again lol.

To Proud,
Glad you are still here.

To Speed,
Do we want to start the divorce jokes for DCW now?

To Sprint,
We had bad weather here too last week, Over 150k were without power, We had broken tree limbs and uprooted trees and our flagpole, but not much.

To the rest of the gang,
Hello to all.

Whereas, I admire the depth and substance of your post, as usual, Mrs. B.

Honestly, I intended from the outset to just ignore this "spinning, and (I forgot to add) rockin' 'n' rollin' moving target" as a poor excuse for a pathetic, logically-challenged, poster.

Let me just correct one portion of your post, your use of the phrase: "his lowlife wife." I had the same impression initially but if you would read one of my previous posts, I made a complete turnaround. Without being judgmental, but rather factual, I can hypothesize that the marriage went awry not because of her but because of him. Glaring preponderance of evidence? The US justice system sided with her, not with him! Then he came on here like a saintly victim.

Ah well, give me a break. And, yes, Mrs. B, my friend, let's give the subject a rest. It's absolutely pointless.
