I have connections there also. in person theres just so much Info. that can be had. riding in the jipny Thing is always enjoyable. HaHa but the drivers there in Philippines are crazy!!!

History of the Philippine Jeepney

Jeepneys are a popular means of public transportation in the Philippines. They were originally made from US military jeeps left over from World War II and are well known for their flamboyant decoration and crowded seating.

As American troops began to leave the Philippines at the end of World War II, hundreds of surplus jeeps were sold or given to local Filipinos. Locals stripped down the jeeps to accommodate several passengers, added metal roofs for shade, and decorated the vehicles with vibrant colors and bright chrome hood ornaments.

The jeepney rapidly emerged as a popular and creative way to reestablish inexpensive public transportation, which had been virtually destroyed during World War II. Recognizing the wide-spread use of these vehicles, the Philippine government began to place restrictions on their use. Drivers now must have specialized licenses, regular routes, and reasonably fixed fares.

Well DC i could have sent a check but i choose to send a MO like i did when i sent my payment for my I-130 and it wasnt a problem when i did..the problem is not the money orders it was the fact that they were saying they did not receive any payment for the biometrics so the MO was not the issue here.

Oh, really? They don't have laws against drinking and driving over there Speed? I know many countries are more lax than the US on drunk driving laws, but I didn't know that about the Phillipines.

I don't believe that, DC. I don't think an illness such as alcoholism is looked highly upon in any country.

I thought you're gathering facts about the Philippines, or at least that was what you said last night.

You're irresponsibly giving out unreliable and judgmental 'facts' about one country and its people once again here.

Guys,
I Am Not The Ultimate Answer, Everything I speak only Comes From personal Experiences, What I Myself Has Seen! Myself, Friends, MO's Require Allot Of Work To Prove Payment Was Accepted And Processed! Cost$$$ And Allot Of Time Just To Prove The MO Was Processed/Accepted! If Ever A Proof Problem Arises, MO's Are Difficult and Time Consuming!

There are circumstances when one would only take a money order or certified check. I certainly wouldn't sell my car to someone who handed me a personal check - lol! I would make sure it was backed by the green stuff first! Only makes good sense.
