Divulge all that I know and have experienced there? Haha! There's no any secret to conceal or uncover about the Philippines or Filipinos, my friend. Filipinos eat, sleep, work, educate, go to church, provide for family, socialize, dream, just like you and I. It isn't like an enchanted kingdom shrouded in some kind of spell, and one needs a magic word to break into a treasure! Now I'm curious about your extraordinary anxiousness, and I want to know the truth behind it.

RN,
Again about Me, I live in an area where my friends are from all over the world, but we really don't think about that, kinda see everyone as same. thats how i see everyone on ILW. different but same! I guess Growing up in a place where there are people from every part of the world here makes me see things different than those/some here on ILW that from words, says you see yourself as different. to me you are no different than I am. different Individual yes. different culture, history, race, At least were I live we don't even see that anymore. Everyone is SAME! I guess too hard to Express In writing Here.
Anxiousness??? I guess Maybe Because Ive seen and heard Too many varying story's from those of the Phil. "Forget About my experience with the bad people, They Are Different" I'm referring to Others, good people! Good friends Too! but all have different views about the home country. here most will tell you same, similar to what you wrote. Interesting thats all.

I can walk outside and see 5 people. each one having origin another place in this world, But i Don't really see that or even think about it! Just People!

my friends etc. even though from all over, we just go out and have fun. we don't really talk about each others place of origin etc. i would rather Goof on a forum than goof to one of my Off line physical friends here.

Ive Been To Cebu, Manila, mendanou! Ive Connected With Business Owners and The poor Alike There! Im looking For Your Input? Your experience? what Do You see? TRUTH!!!!

May I ask what business you represented in connecting to Phil. business owners?

I can name US business where the Phil. made partners with ( Phil-American Life Insurance, Direct TV, Comcast, Bank of America,Citi Bank,Starbucks,McDonnalds,Burger King, Wendy's Toy's R Us, Ford, Kentucky, Pizza Hut and a lot lot more.

The Philippines was a US Commonwealth before.
US gave the independence on July 4th. Which
was a public holiday we celebrate called
American -Philippine Friendship Day!

We have US bases all around the country.
Which right now some are open port for Business Trade. Which most you can see are US factories ( subic bay)

If you been there ( like what you say is true)
You should know the country is adopted to high technology and not a bare forest island.

Poor? being one is not a crime. Some countries have poor people too even here in the US.

So, What TRUTH are you lookin for DC eh?

So my lawyer's office calls me and says the USCIS (Texas Service Center) just call them and the immigration officer told them that we did not send in the biometrics fee so i was like WHAT?!!!! i did send in a money order for $1,010.00 so the guy at my lawyer's office said ok that's what i thought cuz i'm looking at your file and it shows you DID send the $1,010.00 to us so he puts me on hold to talk to the immigration officer at TSC after about five minutes he comes back and says the immigraton officer apologizes to the law firm and to me (the guy at the law office told the officer that he had me on the other line so he told him to tell me sorry for the mistake Roll Eyes) and he the officer said he just transfered to the service center after being in the deportation section. Can you believe that?!!!

Hi, CM, good luck! Oh my, my... That constitutes the increase from the erstwhile $765.00 to the current $1,010.00 family-based AOS application fees. So, it's more money for a 'much-to-be-desired quality service' in return! USCIS apologists, anyone?

You were well within your rights to get angry, CM! $1,000 is no chump change - and to think it had not been received? I would have reached through the phone lines and grabbed someone's neck - lol!

CM,
MONEY ORDERS ****! Even International Checks, Electronic transfers Much Better! Money Orders Are Difficult To trace. Our System Here Does not like Money Orders! Just Thought I Mention It. Lives Have been destroyed Here Because Money Orders Used!
Just A thought. Smile
Cashiers Checks Can Be Purchased From any bank, account Or not! Prepaid Debit/Credit Card! all Better Than Money Orders! HERE! Smile

But, it's all okay now, right? I think you said they acknowledged their mistake? Oh geez, I don't know how you guys survive going through this process! Nothing like living on pins and needles for years on end. Our system is so fouled up!!!! Perhaps when Obama gets elected, he will get things straightened out??? Smile
