Yes, I am plagued with an ant problem now! And, I'm not as kind as Jeanine either!
The ring Mike sent must have been lost in the mail because I never received it - lol! It's time we go on strike for non-payment - lol!!!
And there he goes, boasting about the $5K ring! I saw somewhere that he said that he doesn't know when he will be back - is it still the laptop causing the problem?
I was backtracking and saw the posts about the storms in the areas of Sprint and Jake. I wish we are living there in VA too (aside from the fact that it is near Washington D.C. and all those museums! ) I'm accustomed to strong typhoons, but tornadoes really scare me!

Mike has been back for the past few nights - using a borrowed pc. It's just that he doesn't work the same hours as us - lol! He sleeps during the day, and works at night! I can't keep up with that.

Mike I'm sorry I was not around, I was awake though, believe me. Jeez I had a bad night with these storms. I woke up went downstairs and finally fell asleep when it calmed down. Then I get a call around 2am telling me sirens of going off and to find a place for safety as there were rotations near my house. I couldn't hear the sirens because the hail and wind was so loud. We saw a funnel cloud when the lightening was striking and it looked like it was trying to touch down, son rings 911 and watches it. There is me freaking out get in the cupboard..and he is there wanting to watch it and let someone else know about it. Not good living with a meteorologist wanna be. Thankfully no touch down but spent most of night awake with all the noise and listening carefully to any more rotations.
Maybe I should move during tornado season..VA here I come! lol

Jake I think it was lucky you were working last night, probably safer.

When I got home this morning, I asked my neighbour, and they didnt get as much, only thunder and lightning with lots of rain, at work however, we had golf ball size hail, a few big claps of thunder along with the rolling thunder, and the lightning, I still cant get over the hail, I was panicking about the car, but luckily the perimeter guy checked on our cars and reported no broken window screens.

I know that hail was big ones, thought it was going to come through my roof. Caused some damage in my area, cars with hail damage and some houses damaged.
I just heard on the news, hundreds of people complained about not hearing the sirens as storm was too loud. Turns out that the sirens are not meant to be heard in houses, but for people outside to warn them. Eh??? Who would be outside in middle of night apart from in a car usually, and you can't even hear the sirens in a car either.
I guess I will need one of those alert radios that go off. I really don't want to go through what we went through last night again, it was rather scary I must admit, probably worse I have seen yet.
Glad you didn't get much of it. Do you take cover at work? Or is building tornado proof..or near as?
