Hi,

I'm asking this for a close friend of mine who I'm trying to help.

She, like myself, is a permanent resident alien from Europe. She's been here for over ten years and wants to become a citizen.

The problem is that about six years ago she was going through a hard time and got herself in trouble and was arrested on three occasions within a few months.

She was arrested for trespassing but the charges was dropped. Next she was arrested for felony drug posession but this was also dropped. Lastly she was, this time wrongly, arrested for prostitution but the charges were reduced to disorderly conduct for which she got court supervision which is not counted as a conviction.

Now my question is, how likely would she be to be deported if she applied for naturalization? Would she be stupid to take the gamble and try it, or is the risk that she would be deported quite low?

I appreciate any help with this matter.

Thank you,

Enirel
