I have given a 60 days voluntary departure in Dec 2001 by IJ and appealed the decision to the BIA. The BIA dismissed my case and gave me a voluntary departure for 30 days in 2002. I appealed the decision to the federal court and the federal court agreed with with the IJ last year. Right after the federal court decision I came to Canada and got accepted. If I wanted to return the States would the 10 year ban apply?
After the federal court decision I had received a letter from detention officer to appear at the detention office. But I was on my way to Canada. Please help!
