Make an infopass appointment with the copy of the AR-11, confirmation of your address change, and the confirmation that the replacement card has been approved. It appears this is a USCIS error, not you.

yes thank you called them again spoke to a different agent getting different answers from them ie they sent me an approval letter stating green card applic i-90 approved ie got that July 25th so good news but they had sent that letter to my previous address in sacramento and the postal service had sent it to me in dc so like a time 2 day overlap I called immediatley as i have letters from them confirming my addres change that was done months agon when lo moved back to dc the letter said i would get the card next 30 days so i waited then i heard it had being ordered for production all withing the 30 days as i have email notifications set up also cover all bases right :-) so the 30 days passed no card and they state they sent the approval letter and the card on the same day to that old address . the first agent i spoke to said to refile i-90 again and PAY and wait after already wiating 15 months now . I was bit angry called back got a different agent and she said there is no fee now so they seem to change stories protocal depending who u get on the phone if the us postal service returned it to them as she said they wont forward a green card the letter i received yes So they must have it somewhere in a stack of paperwork is what i am thinking I have my passprt stamped withe the i-551 employment authorized When you call the 1800 no it deoends who u talk to it seems as some give you more information than others and seem more knowledgeable also . Kinda annoying i was 100% apprived they did all their background checks etc on me :-) so now guess i have to file i-90 again and wait anythime i went to the office directly in person got basically the same answers i.e case pending thats the status it was in all last year till finally APPROVED it may still turn up in the mail but im not holding out hope on that as its 40 days overdue now If it was returned to them thn they should have it and i believe eveytime u call and discuss the case with them they log it on your acct notes transcation etc ..
You think i will have to wait another 15 months now !! I can work with the stamp i have in my passport no problem and have being ..
Thanks for all your help

I am from Ireland and we now have a similar process in place for immigration I just want to apply for citizenship now and be done with it :-)I was issued my card originally in 1989 but just remained a resident and had no probs
