Hi All,
I am new on this site and registered today to discuss about my case. I heard from my friend that I will get valuable immigration information from this web site . I am briefly describing about my whole case below.

1)My political asylum case was denied on 1996 which was applied on 1991.
2)I appealed within 10 days.
3)I also applied for suspension of deportation which was denied on 1996 based on new immigration laws.
4)Appealed for political asylum also was denied on 1999.
5)I did not or could not leave because of my serious medical condition where I would not get same treatment in my country (I was afraid to die without treatment in my country). For example I had ear surgeries in USA total seven times between 1993 to 2003. I can not hear at all without hearing aid. Probably need more surgry in future to stay alive.
6)On 2000, I got sponsorship from a restaurant.
7)The labor certificate and I-140 had been approved . I-485 was filed and I was finger printed on 2002. I also had EAD card on 2003 based on employment sponsorship. I also received new EAD card last month.
8)My attorney also applied for I-212 on 2002 based on my serious medical conditions. (it is still pending)
9)This month I have received that my I-485 application and petition has been approved from VNC and transfer to local INS(Newark) for interview date.
Few days ago I also was schedualed to have fingerprinted again.

I am really fearing to go for GC interview where decision was not made for I-212 application. When people hear about my case they surprised how I get EAD and I-485 application processed where my deportation order was issued already. And also no action was taken after I gave fingerprint.
Could anybody tell what may happen to my case? Is there any possibility that I may arrest and deported when I will go to local INS for GC interview?

Thanks
Newguest69

I replied to your posting but my computer crashed before it was posted. So I keep it short this time around (sorry):
Your receiving of the EAD and the action on your I-485 is highly unusual after the removal order and denial of your appeal. The ear problems you have are not a life threathning condition that would chancel a removal. So, it's really puzzling. Either there was a 'stay on your removal order' and your processings are in error at this time or there was some kind of a loopwhoole in which you fit. You need to file for a freedom of information and consult a knowledgable attorney. Good luck.

Thanks Pandora for your response. I also thought there was some error occuring in my file processing.I am waiting for GC interview date from local INS. Then I will discuss with attorney in details what may happen or possibility to my interview.
I am very concered if there is any possiblity to arrest me and deport me from the spot where GC interview will take place.

(245I law doesn't prevent deportation ? )
