yes this is an immigration forum. and yes some people have used it as a personal blog center, music paintings etc... there are currently rules that permit such. the same as the current rules permit posting of news articles, such as the ones that manali makes a link to. WAR IS UGLY, granted ALL deaths and horrors related to war are. Again i am reminding that we cannot lose site of freedom of speech or expression. This is not a communist society.
The rules on the forum will have to be changed in order to enforce some people's threads or posts. But be careful and make sure that somewhere down the road that they will not infringe/ affect your own posts someday.

4Now, Yes there is Mike2007's World News Thread, altho I do not go there much, I have yet to see something that even resembles what Manali posts.
BTW, I do like most of the songs, pictures and video etc., that E and others post and do not have a problem with them, infact I think it lightens up the forum sometimes.
As for you giving good advise, I dont know if you give good advise ALL THE TIME, as I can only give my own experiences on immigration and do not understand all about the immigration laws.

Second thing, this forum is OUT DATED, out of date, out of order almost. I can set up a forum on my host in two minutes and it will have tons of features. You have to update it to something better. If you want to use bold or url with a link, it's a PITA. Bold text goes right to the bottom of the post and you basically have to copy and paste text twice. I'm too lazy to write my own [ B ]. Also you might be really lucky having missed the html tags that were in between [...] and the modern code. It's like going from Commodore straight to MacBook Air.

Sam, Yes From Me There is a wonderful diversity of people on ILW, Many Views, Ideas, beliefs, Races, Cultures. And all disagree with someone else Here at one time or Another. However Our Differences I Would Not Want Any of these people Banned. "Thats Why we Have Ignore feature" If It Becomes too much for some.
Even The Illegal immigrants and there questions here "No one Knows for Sure Who They Are" But is freedom of speech.
However If a Vote Was taken On manali's post. I think 100% would remove this sort of thing. My belief is it does have terrorist quality's and intentions. "celebration of Death to others" Does Not Belong ANYWHERE!!! Just How I feel about it. I Hope others will also make their veiws known here.

At first glance what maneli posted comes across as anit-American. However, taking into account what 4now stated concerning reaction here to bombings in Iraq the argument could be made its the same thoughts directed back at us.
None of his/her postings can be attributed to an immigration issue. The conclusion is they are meant as a polical protest. The question becomes should protests be permitted? This assumes the anti-war intent of the postings.
Vote Republican and this country will still be worth sneaking into.
