Whats the process to apply for AOS of a USC? How long it takes? Can the parent leave US while the process is pending? Any info will be highly appreciated.

I asked the same question for my friend several months ago... what I was told is this ... if parents are in united states on valid visa... u can apply for AOS ...it goes the same way as any other AOS ...so once its approved ... you have to get advance parole if they want to go out of usa .... if they are in other country ... either you can do DCF in other country US Consulate or file from here....

But I m sure that I was told about possible AOS if parents are already here on a valid visa...Good luck...Pasha
