What happens if I married an US citizen in good faith and he was bigamous? He kicked me out of the house without money and my personal belongings and with our 2 months baby. Can I petition myself?
Mink, Sorry to hear that, in order for people to help you, you just need to post more details, like your legal status, how long time you've been married, did you go to an interview or not...etc.

sorry to hear about ur troubles. ARe u saying that your husband is already married to someone else??? If that is the case, then u do not have a legal marriage and u cannot adjust status through him sorry to tell u . But in another way you may be able to "self adjust" due to this emotional abuse. Did he treat u badly or physical abuse u also? Did he refuse you to file papers for you ? You will need to seek a lawyer to build your case & file papers for you for a VAWA application I-360. This is going to be a bit tricky b/c u are not legally married to this guy. But it sounds like you have a case and are good candidate for VAWA.
