My wife's i-485 is pending with INS for about 2yrs. about 9 months ago I hired an attorney, but he has been all talk and no action. Is there a form that I can file with INS to have this attorney removed from the case. I am working with my congressmans office on the i-485 and I dont want the attorney taking all the credit for it. Any ideas?

Anytime you file any paper work you sign a consent form that your lawyer you hire as attorney. this form goes with all the papers you file if you don't then. Lawoffice is automaticaly removed.
to be sure You should write with your reference number to INS. that XYZ law firm is no more represent you. you will not be answered but it will go in your file.
